However, new evidence now links her to a self-described “radical environmental movement” Earth First! which was linked to domestic terrorism by the FBI in the 80s and 90s, and to Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber.
Breitbart has reported that Stone-Manning was in fact a member of Earth First! as a graduate student at the University of Montana, Missoula at the time she was implicated in the 30-year old tree-spiking incident widely reported by conservative outlets after her nomination.
Earth First! The Unabomber & Tracy Stone-Manning – The Connection of Eco-Terrorism
Here’s the kicker: Ted Kaczynski also known as ‘the Unabomber’ who was responsible for at least 23 deaths in a years-long campaign of mail bombings in the mid-nineties and authored his infamous manifesto “Industrial Society and Its Future” described himself as being a “sympathizer” to Earth First! and gave his first interview to the Earth First! Journal. Stone-Manning also wrote for and “helped edit” Earth First! publication ‘the Wild Rockies Review’ from UM Missoula. One such editorial partly attributed to Stone-Manning (Then known as just ‘Stone’) was an impassioned defense of so-called “monkeywrenching” a blanket term for destructive eco-terrorism.
Kaczynski rote, to Earth First! Journal Editor Theresa Kintz asking her to interview him for the publication. He claimed she was “the “one journalist” he would “be prepared to trust.”
According to Breitbart,
Kintz asked Kaczynski, who authored the famous 35,000-word manifesto Industrial Society and Its Future, during their interview, “Did you ever think of yourself as an Earth Firster?”
Kaczynski replied, “Not really. As sort of a — sympathizer’s too weak a word — but sort of Earth Firster satellite.” Kaczynski added that he did not want to subscribe to the Earth First! journal because he felt it might put him on law enforcement’s radar.
“But I did pick up a copy of the journal, and I saw a lot in it that I liked,” Kaczynski said.
Kintz wrote,
“I read Edward Abbey in mid-eighties and that was one of the things that gave me the idea that, ‘yeah, there are other people out there that have the same attitudes that I do.’ I read The Monkeywrench Gang, I think it was. But what first motivated me wasn’t anything I read. I just got mad seeing the machines ripping up the woods and so forth…”
— Dr. Theodore Kaczynski, in an interview with the Earth First! Journal, Administrative Maximum Facility Prison, Florence, Colorado, USA, June 1999.
This is the manner of person that the radical Democrat-Socialist proponents of the Green New Deal believe should be trusted with our environmental laws and natural resources, if you read the written work of Dr. Theodore Kaczynski, alongside the rhetoric of Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland or of Tracey Stone-Manning and even Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or Greta Thunberg the differences are minor. You could easily interchange the authors’ names.
Who wrote this?
“We can’t save the world by playing by the rules, because the rules have to be changed. Everything needs to change – and it has to start today.”
Or this,
” If the system breaks down the consequences will still be very painful. But the bigger the system grows the more disastrous the results of its breakdown will be, so if it is to break down it had best break down sooner rather than later.”
Or this one,
“As towns and cities go underwater, as wildfires ravage our communities, we’re going to pay, And we have to decide whether we’re going to pay to react or pay to be proactive.”
How about this,
“Everything depends on our ability to sustainably inhabit this earth, and true sustainability will require us all to change our way of thinking on how we take from the earth and how we give back.”
Can you tell which is which? Which quotes come from the eco-terrorist and which from the Biden administration picks? Me niether.
