The media darling of the climate change narrative Greta Thunberg, who was thrust into the media spotlight as a naive child, has revealed her true motivations for her activism: communism. Seriously.
According to Unherd.com’s editorial researcher Nicholas Harris, Thunberg appeared at another ‘children’s crusade’ at London’s Royal Festival Hall to ‘celebrate’ the launch of her modern manifesto The Climate Book. The overt propaganda aside, Greta was speaking with Samira Ahmed.
Thunberg, has moved beyond her “how dare you” frothing, childish, impotent rage, calling out what she perceives as corporate and government inaction on the climate and shifted to a fully realized political position.
Harris wrote, “There is no “back to normal”, she told us. “Normal” was the “system” which gave us the climate crisis, a system of “colonialism, imperialism, oppression, genocide”, of “racist, oppressive extractionism”. Climate justice is part of all justice; you can’t have one without the others. We can’t trust the elites produced by this system to confront its flaws — that’s why she, much like Rishi Sunak, won’t be bothering with the COP meeting this year. COP itself is little more than a “scam” which facilitates “greenwashing, lying and cheating”. Only overthrow of “the whole capitalist system” will suffice.”
Michael Shellenberger, former California Gubernatorial candidate took to Twitter to rebuff the young Swede’s fallacies.

Shellenberger pointed out a few educational notes for the burgeoning young communist:
- “In fact, the “whole capitalist system” has allowed for average life expectancy of humans to rise from 30 to 70.”
- “The “whole capitalist system” produces larger food surpluses than any other in history”
Thanks to Greta’s war on natural gas, this year will be a record year for coal, globally, Europeans are burning garbage and wood to stay warm, and governments are nationalizing failing electricity consumption. https://t.co/oQOVtZ5UDq

The California Republican further noted, “The “whole capitalist system” has resulted in declining emissions thanks to the transition from coal to natural gas, and to less deforestation for agriculture. This is proof that Greta hates capitalism for reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with climate change.”
And finally, he presented the ignominious blowback of the “green” activists’ dreams. “Thanks to Greta’s war on natural gas, this year will be a record year for coal, globally, Europeans are burning garbage and wood to stay warm, and governments are nationalizing failing electricity consumption.”
The entire thread is devoted to systematically dismantling Thunberg’s assertions and it is glorious to behold.
