Over the last two weeks, Democrats have been ripping Donald Trump for his visit to Arlington National Cemetery.
After the latest defense of Trump, I have a feeling this situation will finally be put to bed.
That being a group of mothers of the fallen calling out Harris and defending Trump’s presence that day.
He Was Our Guest
Harris blasted Trump as soon as the report surfaced about his visit to Arlington.
She and the media were accusing Trump of scoring political points by going to the cemetery to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to honor the 13 fallen from Afghanistan on the third anniversary of their deaths.
One of the mothers that had invited Trump that day, Coral Doolittle, spoke up, stating, “[Democrats] politicize everything.
“For them to just make everything, turn everything around and say, ‘He’s doing it wrong. He’s breaking the rules’ … It’s just a lie. It’s just a lie
“President Trump paid his respect to our kids, to all … 13 kids, and he’s the only one that actually takes time to meet with their families, to talk to their families, to honor our kids and say their names
“President Trump knows our 13 kids’ names.”
Another mother, Kelly Barnett, also defended Trump’s presence that day, stating, “It was a beautiful day. President Trump has been a source of peace and a shoulder to lean on and [a] listening ear for us from, you know, the beginning. And, so, it was a beautiful day”
I think we can all agree that this little stunt by Democrats blew up right in their faces, but don’t expect an apology anytime soon because we all know that is not how Democrats work these days.
They just continue to throw venom, hoping that something sticks.
