Even though it’s not racist and is protected free speech, tenured Professor Johnny Eric Williams got a “mutually agreed-upon leave of absence” from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, for tweeting “first responders should just let white victims “f***ing die.” He’s back. Well at least temporarily. It seems that this Sociology prof hasn’t learned his lesson.
Really nutty professor
Trinity College Sociology Professor Johnny Eric Williams is not the kind of guy you would want to be stranded on Gilligan’s island with. Instead of using parts from the FM radio and a couple of coconuts to build a nuclear reactor with, Williams would insist all the White survivors immediately drown themselves in the lagoon.
He got back to class and his locked down and restricted twitter account is already getting the college in trouble again. This time, “Whiteness” is “terrorism.”
Twitter has no problem hosting the progressive professor. Unlike Once and Future President Donald Trump, he never said anything to offend them or violate their terms of service. His employer can’t just fire him because he has “tenure” and can get away with anything he wants.
Instead they did their best to make his life miserable and separate him from impressionable students until the funding starts flowing again. He quietly came back to class and tried to stay under the radar by making “his social media account private.” Even so, local paper The Hartford Courant has screenshots. “Whiteness is terrorism,” the biased educator tapped out.
What Williams broadcast to the twits who follow him was like a lit Molotov cocktail igniting “another firestorm among alumni of the liberal arts school.” Campus Reform notes that Professor Williams doubled down on the “all Whites are terrorists” theme by opining that “all self-identified white people (no exceptions) are invested in and collude with systematic white racism/white supremacy.”
He coined his own term for what used to be called “Uncle Toms” before students became too illiterate to read what Harriet Beecher Stowe actually had to say about what went on in his cabin. He’s not real happy with the liberal Left’s favorite celebrity couple, either.
A good ‘ol ass kicking
When Professor Williams started babbling about “White kneegrows” who “really need a lot of therapy and a good ‘ol ass kicking,” liberals thought he meant Candace Owens. Yeah, her too, he responded of the conservative Black commentator and “political activist from Connecticut.”
That’s not who he had in mind when he tweeted though. He’s referring to the “other and less brazen but more insidious dangerous ‘White’ kneegrows like Barry and Michelle Obama and many other white kneegrows you encounter daily.”
There are, the professor believes, “many socially defined black folks who have internalized whiteness.” The successful ones. As “a way and knowing and being in the world. They, like others who believe themselves to be ‘white,’ act on these ideas in ways that create and sustain systemic white racism.” Angry White parents are refusing to send their kids to Trinity College.
The school doesn’t need their green money either if they continue to allow an indoctrinator to get away with saying things like such “Whiteness internalization lead[s] folks like Candace Owens, Barry and Michelle Obama to engage in actions and policy creations that are existential threats to humanity, particularly the racial[ly] oppressed.” Thus, he continued, “my post denotes the urgency of exposing these individual as enemies of humanity’s well-being.”
The first time Williams was placed in time out, “an investigation by Trinity cleared the professor of any wrongdoing and determined the tweets were protected by academic freedom.” President Joanne Berger-Sweeney “supported Williams’ right to express his views but admitted that she found his words personally offensive.” That first time around, the “college lost $200,000 in donations due to the controversy. Sixteen incoming students also withdrew their enrollment.”
One member of the schools College Republicans told Campus Reform, “they have taken a class with Williams before, called his behavior ‘horrible’ and said he ‘needs to be checked by the administration.'” Even liberals, the student notes, question “why is he still here? I think that’s kind of a question a lot of people are asking.” After all, “he advocated for White genocide, why is he still here?” He also notes that Williams “is known for failing students for no reason and requiring students to sign a waiver stating they will not discuss or email about what is said in his class.” The Trinity admissions department doesn’t exactly have their phone ringing off the hook these days.
