Shop NowPresident Trump called out anti-Semitic Representative Ilhan Omar at a rally in Pennsylvania, saying that she was one of the reasons he’ll win Minnesota in the November election, and told the crowd that she was lecturing Republicans on how to run the country.
“She’s telling us how to run our country… How did you do where you came from? How was your country doing?” the president said.
Omar fired back at the president on Twitter, stating: “Firstly, this is my country & I am a member of the House that impeached you. Secondly, I fled civil war when I was 8. An 8-year-old doesn’t run a country even though you run our country like one.”

In a comment, Omar also added a meme from the movie “Mean Girls,” asking the president “Why are so you obsessed with me?”
Ilhan Omar has been an American citizen for 20 years.
Omar and Trump have fought many times before. President Trump has called the congresswoman anti-Semitic on many occasions, especially over her criticisms of Israel and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a pro-Israel lobbying organization. Omar accused the organization and Israel of being “all about the Benjamins”.
In July of 2019, Trump also called out Omar and a few of her fellow Democrats, stating that they were “viciously” telling “people of the United States… how our government is to be run.” He then said that the congress women should “go back” to fix the “crime infested places from which they came.”
President Trump believes that he will win Minnesota, which Omar represents in Congress, due to her divisive rhetoric and general dislike for her policies. Trump lost Minnesota to Hillary Clinton in 2016 by a narrow margin.
Recent polls show Democratic nominee Joe Biden with about a 10-point lead over President Trump in Minnesota.
