In one of his first acts since assuming the Presidency Joe Biden will ask Congress to “offer legal status to an estimated 11 million people in the country”. In this single act Biden will betray his oath of office through violation of US Constitution Article 2 Section 3 “he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed”. Direct contravention of a law or refusal to apply the law is not “faithful execution”. The law not being applied in this case being the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRAIRA).
Biden’s plan as opposed to President Trump’s more constitutionally compatible, “merit-based” measures would gut the IIRAIRA and grant legal status to 11 million illegal immigrants already in the US.
According to DailyWire,
“Under Biden’s plan, illegal aliens would become eligible for legal permanent residence after five years and for U.S. citizenship after another three years, a faster path to citizenship than in other bills.”
The Planned Annihilation of Borders
The Biden plan, known as the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021 is said to include:
- A 100-Day Moratorium on Deportations (Already in effect: The Department of Homeland Security on late-Wednesday night confirmed a 100-day moratorium on deportations for certain noncitizens starting on Friday, Jan. 22.)
- An offer of legal status to an estimated 11 million people in the country
- Illegal Immigrants would be put on an eight-year path to citizenship.
- There would be a faster track for those in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and Temporary Protected Status.
- DACA and TPS recipients will “automatically get green cards” according to Kamala Harris.
- Eliminates the “3 and 10-year bars.” Currently, illegal-immigrants who stay in the U.S. for more than six months, but less than a year, can be barred from returning for three years. Illegals who stay in the U.S. for more than a year can be barred from the U.S. for up to a ten years.
- The term “noncitizen” will replace “alien” in the country’s immigration laws.
Convenient Amnesia On President Trump’s Reforms
Marielena Hicapie, Executive Director of the National Immigration Law Center said, “This really does represent a historic shift from Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda that recognizes that all of the undocumented immigrants that are currently in the United States should be placed on a path to citizenship,” Marielena seems to have forgotten that Trump’s “anti-immigrant agenda” included a Trump Executive order with a “road to citizenship” announced on Meet The Press in July 2020 as well as a massive GOP outreach to Latino communities unseen in decades.
Trump’s plan was clarified by then-Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere, the differences between the Trump and Biden plans is apparent:
“As the President announced today, he is working on an executive order to establish a merit-based immigration system to further protect U.S. workers,” deputy press secretary Judd Deere said in a statement. “Furthermore, the President has long said he is willing to work with Congress on a negotiated legislative solution to DACA, one that could include citizenship, along with strong border security and permanent merit-based reforms. This does not include amnesty.“

Yahoo News reported, “The bill also would provide a shorter pathway to citizenship for hundreds of thousands of people with temporary protected status and beneficiaries of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals who were brought to the U.S. as children, and probably also for certain front-line essential workers, vast numbers of whom are immigrants,”
This seems to be another case of convenient amnesia as President Trump said “One of the aspects of the bill is going to be DACA. We are going to have a road to citizenship.”
They’re Coming Because Biden Invited Them
Biden’s plan coincides with another ‘caravan’ of Honduran illegal immigrants approaching the U.S. border. “The group of migrants was originally anywhere between 2,000 and 4,000 strong, although their numbers have dwindled as the march towards the United States has continued,” The Daily Mail reported. President Trump tried to protect us from this, but now its in Biden’s hands.
One migrant explained that the 8,000 people are coming because Biden is ‘going to help all of us.’ and he is ‘giving us 100 days to get to the U.S.’
People seem to be basing this on Joe Biden’s campaign promise of a ‘100-day moratorium on deportations’. The Hill reported the caravan violently breaching the border fences at El Florida, Guatemala and “failing to comply with immigration and health requirements”. The caravan is expected to reach the southern border within days.
This is bolstered by releases regarding the plan like this one from The Sacramento Bee,
“The bill would allow undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. to apply for temporary legal status. After five years, those immigrants could apply for green cards under Biden’s proposal. To apply, applicants must be physically present in the United State before January 2, 2021.” In other words, “Merit-based” immigration is dead, if you can get here fast enough, it’s a free ride.
