3 ‘Hotly Contested’ Democrat Incumbents Just Got Moved To Toss-Ups

Democrats are waking up to the disheartening fact that the bloodbath of the mid-mid-term 2021 is only the beginning of their electoral woes and rather than read the tea leaves that they are perhaps pushing too far to the left too fast and are feeling a backlash, they’ve instead reached the particularly insane conclusion that they aren’t going far enough. (As Einstein tells us “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”) Hence, the Democrat-Socialist party’s all-encompassing desperation (facilitated by the GOP RINO’s) to ram-jam through ANY derivation of Biden’s vaunted “Build Back Better” scheme, by any means necessary. What that means in immediate terms is their incumbents are in serious trouble.

“On the election front, I actually think we have good news as well,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez said in a now-infamous Instagram video. “I know that Virginia was a huge bummer. And honestly, if anything, I think the results show the limits of trying to run a fully 100 percent super moderated campaign that does not excite, speak to or energize a progressive base.”

As Daniel Ottomire observed for American Journal Daily though, “Hasn’t worked out that way. Despite that legislative “win,” Biden’s numbers are still tanking. His VP is doing much worse. There are rumors that the in-fighting will lead to her getting replaced. And now, it looks like three “safe” Senate seats are now toss-ups.”

The Numbers Are Big Trouble For Democrat Incumbents

The Cook Political Report‘s Senate ratings, released on Nov.19th are definitely blowing some minds on The Hill as they awoke to find seemingly competitive Democrat holds such as first-term Arizona Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly relegated to the “Toss-Up” category along with another highly strategic 2020 “winner”: Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock of Georgia and Sen. Cortez Mastro of Nevada.

The Hill reported,

President Biden’s approval rating is at its lowest point since he took office, and recent polling suggests that voters are souring on congressional Democrats. The party is hoping to reverse its fortunes by touting its legislative accomplishments, including a recently signed infrastructure law that amounts to the largest investment in public works in decades.

Still, Republicans are increasingly optimistic about their chances, believing that many of the voters who helped hand Democrats control of Washington in 2020 are moving back into the GOP’s corner.”

With Republicans in need of merely one or two seats at most to upset Democrat control of Congress the party of Lincoln has everything to gain. The polling collapse of the Biden-Harris regime, their abysmal legislative performance, and the cataclysmic scandals arising almost as quickly as the skyrocketing inflation and energy costs that have punctuated the year 2021.
