Hunter Biden Bombshell News

It appears that Hunter Biden and his diabolically high paid lawyer, Abbe Lowell, have parted ways. Last month, the already convicted felon added “a new, high-profile criminal defense lawyer to lead him through his tax evasion trial.” Now that his dad’s not going to be president much longer, and Hunter’s name is more controversial than Bud Light, his “sugar brother” Kevin Morris won’t be funding the defense team.

No deal for Hunter

Hunter Biden and his lawyers spent all summer wrangling with David Weiss over a new plea deal. He didn’t get one. None of the motions to dismiss worked either. They’re going to trial and it doesn’t look good for Biden. Now that he’s already a convicted felon on gun charges, which he hasn’t been sentenced for yet, the tax evasion sentence will be worse.

He can’t say he’s never had any prior felony convictions this time around. He was really hoping to avoid a full trial because all sorts of nasty things about his family are bound to be revealed under oath.

The games are set to begin next month in California. Hunter is looking at three felony tax-related charges in that jurisdiction. Those are on top of the gun crimes he was convicted of in Delaware.

Because he can’t personally afford the exorbitant fees Abbe Lowell charges, Biden turned to defense attorney Mark Geragos. The high priced team of experts who almost got him off in Delaware are counting the money they squeezed out of him and wish him the best.

As CNN explains, “Because of the financial crunch from his continuing legal bills and time limitations for his DC-based defense attorneys, sources said the team that tried Biden’s gun case in Delaware is taking a back seat to Geragos.

The developments, they note, “highlight how the legal and political situation” swirling around Hunter “has shifted over the past two months.” Suddenly, he needs to “avoid a second costly and embarrassing trial as his father prepares to exit the White House.” They don’t have the Big Guy’s influence to peddle now.

Abbe Lowell has been billing Hunter Biden and his family around $1,700 an hour.

Money is a factor

Money, CNN confirms, “has also become a factor.” That’s because his bong smoking primary benefactor, Kevin Morris, “has run low on funds he can dedicate to Biden’s defense.” Hunter had his legal team working on lawsuits against his detractors in an attempt to make some money to pay themselves with.

Most of those suits were dropped because they don’t have the resources to follow through. Plus the fact he doesn’t really have a legal leg to stand on.

While the Delaware trial lasted a full week, Hunter is expected to undergo a much longer and more intense battle over the tax charges.

Failing to pay taxes on illegally collected bribes, hidden under offshore shell companies is something the Infernal Revenue Service frowns upon. They really don’t like writing hookers off as a business expense either. He allegedly deducted the travel fees of his coke dealer.

Abbe Lowell has been billing Hunter Biden and his family around “$1,700 an hour.” At least, that’s his going rate per court records. There was talk of the White House opening a GoFundMe for Hunter’s legal bills but that didn’t work out. “White House officials previously pushed back against the idea.

Hunter can still avoid trial, Weiss teases him. Simply “plead guilty to the nine tax counts, including three felonies, that he is charged with.” That will be the end of it.
