20 States SLAM Biden Regime With Lawsuit

The state of Idaho just joined 19 other states to sue the Biden regime for the “parole” scheme they cooked up as an excuse to open the migrant floodgates. Joe thinks that Domestic Security Minister Alejandro Mayorkas has the authority to do that at his own discretion but there’s a limitation. AG Raúl Labrador is the latest to join a federal suit in progress started by Texas. It’s supposed to be on a case-by-case basis, not thousands at once.

Legal challenge to Biden parole

Earlier this month “the Biden Administration unveiled the expansion of a plan to parole illegal immigrants into the United States.” Joe Biden’s scheme doesn’t seem legal to Idaho and other conservative states.

On Wednesday, January 25, their attorney general, Raúl Labrador, “announced the filing of a new lawsuit.” He issued a press release to go with it. Biden’s official plan is to allow 360,000 illegal immigrants in every year, as long as they come from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela.

The scheme involves a loophole in the law meant for special cases, not as a general immigration policy. “Federal law tells the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to exercise discretionary authority, evaluating individual immigrants on a ‘case-by-case‘ basis.” It’s called “parole.

Mayorkas just created “a new federal ‘program‘ that goes way beyond case-by-case review and potentially grants status to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants.

Joe Biden can’t just wave his magic Imperial pen and create “federal immigration law” out of thin air. That’s the job of Congress. Idaho filed his version of the suit, in an attempt to ensure Biden and Mayorkas comply with existing federal immigration laws.

Granting parole to everyone is a violation of the existing ones, not a new law in itself. Nineteen other states already filed similar suits.

Twenty states so far

Texas got the ball rolling by accusing Biden and Mayorkas of “arbitrarily” making “the recent policy change as well as overstepping its authority.” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was the first but nowhere near the last.

The suit has a fair chance of overturning the mass parole because he “previously succeeded in temporarily halting new immigration laws.

In a statement, Paxton’s office notes that Biden’s parole scheme “unlawfully creates a de facto pathway to citizenship for hundreds of thousands of aliens.

The U.S. District Court’s Southern District of Texas will hear the case. “Every state in America, especially border states like Texas, is being crushed by the impacts of illegal immigration.

Biden is fully behind the globalist “open borders agenda” which “has created a humanitarian crisis that is increasing crime and violence in our streets, overwhelming local communities, and worsening the opioid crisis.

Not only that, mass parole is a back door for blanket amnesty on down the road. “This unlawful amnesty program, which will invite hundreds of thousands of aliens into the U.S. every year, will only make this immigration crisis drastically worse.
