It’s official that Fox News has committed suicide with the firing of Tucker Carlson. Media giant Fox News is facing a continued plummet in ratings since the forcible exit of Tucker Carlson.
Fox News Channel’s prime-time viewership tumbled 29.6% the week after Tucker was taken off air.

The Los Angeles Times reported, “Fox News Channel averaged 1.449 million viewers for its prime-time programming between April 24 and Sunday, third among cable networks, according to live-plus-same-day figures released by Nielsen on Tuesday.”
At this time Carlson’s prime 8 p.m. time slot has been replaced with the hastily put-together show “Fox News Tonight.” Brian Kilmeade hosted the show last week and Lawrence Jones will host this week.

Tucker Carlson averaged about 3 million viewers nightly in his 8 pm slot which carried over to the later shows of Hannity and Ingram. In comparison approximately 1.48 million viewers tuned in to “Fox News Tonight” on Tuesday. Less than half the normal viewership.
“Tucker Carlson Tonight” was one of the five most-watched programs on Fox News.
Blaze Media reported that Fox News Channel’s 25-54 demographic ratings have crashed by a whopping 75% since Carlson was fired.
Many are chiming in over the mega media conglomerates demise in the ratings. One such commentator is Former Fox News star Megyn Kelly, who called the ratings a “bloodbath.”

“Bloodbath. Not even Bud Lite (which is currently giving away its beer in an effort to get ppl to pls pls drink it) lost this much of its customer base,” Kelly tweeted.
Bright spots that are left for Fox News in this particular key demographic were “The Five” hosted by Greg Gutfeld in the 5 p.m. time slot with 301,000 viewers and “Gutfeld!” in the 11 p.m. slot with 216,000 key demo viewers.
