New Hampshire GOP Sen. Kelly Ayotte just tossed her name into the hat for the race.
This is going to make for a very interesting race.

Sununu just recently announced that he would not be running for a fifth term, as he appears ready to move on to bigger things.
What they will be, however, remains to be seen.
Sununu was considered a possible presidential candidate, but he has already stated he will not be getting into that race either.
So, as Sununu goes off into the sunset, Ayotte is hoping to grab the mansion keys and get some fancy digs for a few years.
She stated, “Gov. Sununu did a great job, but there is going to be a vacuum there, and we are one election away from becoming Massachusetts in New Hampshire, and I’m not going to let that happen.
“We have something very special in New Hampshire — no income [tax], no sales tax, education freedom is so important in our state.
“So I’m running for governor to make sure that New Hampshire remains safe, prosperous and free.”
New Hampshire is now purple, and it is quickly changing to blue, so we need to make sure we have someone in there that can crush anyone the Democrats put on the ticket.
The question is if she is the right candidate for the job.
I say this because after overwhelmingly winning her attorney general’s election, she won her first Senate run by 20 points, but then she was defeated by Senator Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) in 2016.
This election is too important to risk for a borderline candidate, so we can only hope the people of New Hampshire make the right selection in who runs on the GOP side of the ticket.
