Joe Biden’s presidency has been a disgrace, with failure after failure, but three major disasters stand out from the rest.
According to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of Biden’s worst failures is the botched withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan which allowed Taliban terrorists to take over the country and obtain weapons, equipment, and vehicles left behind by the U.S. during the hastily executed dead-of-night withdrawal.
The next failure listed by Rep. Greene is the crisis at the southern border, which was a consequence of Biden’s failure to uphold immigration law, and his rhetoric on the campaign trail and since taking office that basically encouraged illegals to make the journey.
The final failure on the congresswoman’s list is Biden’s decision to blatantly ignore a ruling from the Supreme Court regarding the eviction moratorium. SCOTUS explicitly ruled that the Executive Branch had no authority to extend the moratorium, and that the authority lied with Congress only. Despite that clear ruling, Biden extended the moratorium while acknowledging that it was illegal.
“I can’t tell you. I don’t know. There are a few scholars who say it will and others who say it’s not likely to,” Biden said, responding to a question from the press about the legality of the extension. “But at a minimum, by the time it gets litigated, it will probably give some additional time while we’re getting that $45 billion out to people who are in fact behind in the rent and don’t have the money.”
Rep. Greene announced the new Articles of Impeachment in a tweet on her official congressional Twitter account.
“Today, I introduced three impeachment resolutions against Joe Biden for his dereliction of duty in Afghanistan, his violations of immigration law causing a national security crisis on our Southern border, and his usurping of Congressional power by ignoring the SCOTUS,” Representative Greene tweeted.
