Middle East Teeters on Brink of Global Conflict [INFO]

Russia stuck their nose into the Middle East conflict on Wednesday. They did it with a warning to Israel that whacking visiting Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, in Iran’s capitol city, could start World War III. Vladimir Putin’s mouthpiece called it full “global conflict.” The Ayatollah has already declared jihad, promising “harsh punishment.” Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was quick to authorize “a direct strike on Israel.

Middle East heating up fast

Full blown war in the Middle East is heating up fast. Hamas, or what’s left of them, are calling the precision strike which eliminated Ismail Haniyeh a “a grave escalation.” They may have been wiped out in Gaza but they still have powerful friends.

Iran has been sponsoring them as well as Hezbollah. The mercenary Palestinians seem ready to pick it up where Hamas left off. They’re also a whole lot better equipped.

According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, in a statement issued July 31, they “resolutely condemn the attack that led to Mr. Haniyeh’s death.” It wasn’t nice to bomb him “while in Tehran for the inauguration of Iran’s new president.

The entire Middle East is up in arms backing one side or the other. Russia is convinced it’s intentional. “We believe that such action is aimed against attempts to establish peace in the region, and could significantly destabilize the already tense situation.

Deputy spokesman Andrei Nastasin had his chance to log some time in front of reporters. He notes the Israeli wet-work raised “the stakes” in an already high wager poker game.

It started when Hamas troops slaughtered more than 1,200 Israelis on October 7. Israel vowed to respond decisively and they did. The entire Middle East region “is currently balancing on the brink of a global conflict.” Natasin declared.

US has ‘manic desire’

Another thing the Kremlin had to say was that Joe Biden’s handlers are acting really sneaky. The United States, Natasin observes, has a “manic desire” to “monopolize the process of political settlement” across the Middle East.

Blinky thinks he can wheel and deal a permanent cease-fire but it’s never going to happen. Kamala’s remarks in support of Palestine’s side certainly didn’t help things any and could have prompted the Hezbollah attack on Golan Heights.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken, meanwhile, “was quick to distance the U.S. from any involvement.” We had nothing to do with killing the Hamas leader, though we were watching on TV as they “extracted” Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr, like a rotten tooth. “First, this is something we were not aware of or involved in,” Blinky insists.

I’ve learned over many years never to speculate on the impact that an event has had on something else. So I can’t tell you what this means.” That sounds like he thinks the Middle East conflict is about to go round the planet, fast.

Bring it on, the Israelis say. They’ve been ready for this moment for centuries. According to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, “we don’t want war but we are preparing for all possibilities.” The entire Arab Middle East is howling in anger so loudly it frightens the camels. “Haniyeh, one of Hamas’ top leaders, was in Tehran attending the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s new president when he was killed.” That makes it worse, diplomatically.

Hamas declares to the great Palestinian people and the people of the Arab and Islamic nations and all the free people of the world, brother leader Ismail Haniyeh is a martyr.” He gets his 72 virgins. “This assassination by the Israeli occupation of Brother Haniyeh is a grave escalation that aims to break the will of Hamas.” It only made them angry.
