Elon Musk has been making headlines for his tech stardom, extreme wealth and more conservative-leaning views. Well, hardcore socialist Bernie Sanders is not too happy about his space travel agenda and makes it clear he should pay more taxes.
Musk Sets his Sight on Space
Musk rose to recognition due to being the CEO of the innovative electric car brand Tesla. The entrepreneur has talked about using his fortune to fund interplanetary travel. To this, Sanders demanded that “we need to focus on Earth” and raise taxes on the wealthy to rescue “obscene” inequality in the US.
Musk is listed as one of the richest people in the world and said he plans to use his wealth to fund space exploration.
“I am accumulating resources to help make life multi-planetary & extend the light of consciousness to the stars,” Musk tweeted on Sunday.

Sanders Wants More Money
Millionaire Sanders responded: “Space travel is an exciting idea, but right now we need to focus on Earth and create a progressive tax system so that children don’t go hungry, people are not homeless and all Americans have healthcare.

He went on to blab about the mantra that “the level of inequality in America is obscene and a threat to our democracy.”
The Business Insider reported on Musk’s enormous wealth and his future plans:
After a rally in Tesla stock, Musk last week overtook Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to become the world’s richest person, with an estimated fortune of $182 billion, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index.
Musk, who also runs the space-exploration firm SpaceX, said last year that he wanted to send 1 million people to Mars by 2050. He has said he is “highly confident” that SpaceX’s Starship will land on Mars by 2026 and has predicted there will be “a lot of jobs” on Mars.
Socialist Hypocrisy at its Finest
One thing remains constant, in Sander’s mind he can have three houses, have millions in the bank and drive sports cars but that won’t stop him from hypocritically demanding others have their money taken from them.
