Goat humping Hezbollah terrorists are claiming victory over Israel in the town of Odeissah, in Lebanon. They claim to have “ambushed” Israeli ground forces in a gunfight overnight but that seems to be an exaggeration. They weren’t lying in wait but did engage the invading IDF forces. The one sided reports coming in from Lebanon haven’t been confirmed. If they did score a victory it was an isolated event, as Israel had a busy night blowing up half the country. The report appears to be a way for the radical Arabs to boost flagging morale.

Hezbollah defends Odeissah

Chalk up a point for Hezbollah, Arab media sources are reporting on Saturday. They’re getting massacred in their hiding holes scattered around the vicinity of Beirut.

They needed something encouraging on the TV screen so the Iran backed mercenaries are claiming a small victory. Initial reports noted a “substantial security incident in the al-Jalil Panhandle emerged early” on October 5.

Later “the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon,” meaning Hezbollah, claimed “what had occurred was a major ambush near the Lebanese-Palestinian border.” You can’t blame them for bragging a little.

They know they can get away with exaggerating because major media isn’t covering the story. “the Israeli military censor has imposed strict restrictions on information in combat zones.” The only official news is reports of “heavy gunfire and the deployment of attack helicopters near the city settlement of Kiryat Shmona.

Statements “released by the Resistance’s Military Media Unit revealed that fighters had been confronting Israeli ground forces deep into the night.” The IDF kept them hopping.

At 11:00 p.m. (local time) on Friday, Hezbollah fighters monitored an Israeli ground force, which was attempting an incursion into the border town of Odeissah.” The goat humpers say “the force was ambushed and subsequently armed clashes erupted in the area, which has seen intense fighting in the past few days.

The report appears to be a way for the radical Arabs to boost flagging morale.

Not really an ambush

Simply engaging an enemy in battle when they’re discovered invading your territory is hardly and “ambush.” The IDF knew they were there and actively out looking for them.

Hezbollah claims killing “at least nine Israeli officers and soldiers from the 98th Division’s Egoz Unit and the Yahalom Unit on Thursday.” There aren’t any casualty reports available for Friday night’s action.

All that’s being reported by the Arabs is that “Hezbollah Resistance fighters confronted the invading force and as a result of the gunfight.

Along with that, “a massive explosion occurred among the Israeli troops, killing and injuring many, while surviving forces were forced to retreat.” They regrouped and came back.

Later, the Resistance confronted a renewed incursion into the town at 1:50 am on Saturday dawn on Odeissah, where battles are ongoing,” the Military Media Unit announced.

Hezbollah fighters also shelled a grouping of Israeli occupation forces in the Kfar Giladi settlement, which is also located at the tip of al-Jalil Panhandle, opposite the Lebanese towns of Kfar Kila and Odeissah.
