Trump returns to Butler
Once and future President Donald Trump is returning “this weekend to the site where a would-be assassin’s bullet came within inches of taking his life.” The Secret Service has a new director after what happened, so they’re actually taking his protection seriously.
Elon Musk’s security team is also on hand, just to make sure the Secret Service does their job properly. This time, nobody will be able to use the sniper post Thomas Matthew Crooks had reserved for him, on July 13.
On Friday, October 4, team Trump announced that our favorite candidate will “hold a rally on the very same ground where he took a bullet for democracy less than three months ago.”
Scheduled for Saturday evening, “the widow, sisters and daughters of Corey Comperatore” are expected to attend. Also on hand at the Butler Farm Show grounds will be David Dutch. He’s one of the two supporters wounded when Crooks was allowed eight shots at the candidate.
By the time he takes the stage, it will be exactly one month before Election Day. The event is “meant to highlight Trump’s resiliency and bank more support in a state that most observers see as absolutely crucial to deciding who will be the 47th president.”
Pennsylvania loves Donald Trump. The more they see of Kamala Harris in supposed action, the more they love her opponent.
Honor victims and their families
According to campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, “president Trump looks forward to returning to Butler to honor the victims and their families and he looks forward to rallying with thousands of Pennsylvanians.”
He’ll be joined on stage by some of his “closest allies and confidants.” That includes J.D. Vance, who just turned in a solid debate performance against the self-proclaimed “knucklehead” he faced off against.
Also appearing in rural Pennsylvania on Saturday evening are Eric and Lara Trump. The surprise guest is Elon Musk. He’s not about to let Alex Soros go unanswered. Musk has been an avid supporter but this is the first time he’s attended a rally. Now that there have been two unsuccessful attempts on his life, the Secret Service is taking their job seriously. They also began using bulletproof glass.
They continue to complain that they don’t have enough security to go around protecting all the ones they’re obligated to cover, Trump appears to be a much bigger target than the rest. “Ryan Wesley Routh allegedly waited for nearly 12 hours in the treeline of Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach with an SKS rifle waiting for the former president to emerge for a round.”
