Trump Names First Woman to Serve as White House Chief of Staff

Donald Trump managed to infuriate Democrats even more with his historic choice of a woman for Chief of Staff. Susie Wiles is solidly female but still has more balls than Mark Meadows. One thing’s for certain, she won’t be caught crying when the job gets rough. She’s expected to take control of the West Wing and rule it with an iron fist. One of her strongest qualifications for the job is the ability to keep Trump between the lines.

White House Chief of Staff

On Thursday, Donald Trump’s first appointment, co-campaign manager Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff, has Democrat heads exploding. She’s “the first woman to serve in the role.” She landed the gig by demonstrating her talents during the campaign.

Wiles was “key” to Trump’s victory, “viewed as the person responsible for helping keep his bid for the White House more disciplined.

Trump agrees with that observation. “Susie Wiles just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history, and was an integral part of both my 2016 and 2020 successful campaigns.” Axios couldn’t resist digging up examples of when she didn’t quite get the job done.

Trump, they write, “veered from Wiles’ efforts to keep him restrained, often making incendiary rhetoric on the trail.” Even they are forced to admit his new chief of staff “sought to bring discipline to the operation.” They don’t say she was mostly successful but she was.

Trump has nothing but confidence in her. “Susie is tough, smart, innovative, and is universally admired and respected.

He’s convinced that as chief of staff, she’ll “continue to work tirelessly to Make America Great Again.” Another big point in her favor to Trump was the falling out she had with Ron DeSantis.

One of her strongest qualifications is the ability to keep Trump between the lines.

Blackballed from politics

Wiles once served on the team helping get Ron DeSantis elected as Governor of Florida in 2018. After his victory, they had bitter disagreements over policy. “He later shunned her and tried to blackball her across Republican politics.” Since she’d been on Trump’s 2016 campaign, she went back to work for Trump in 2020.

In 2019, however, “Trump temporarily severed ties with Wiles.” That was because DeSantis asked him to. She’s not going to hold it against him while acting as his chief of staff. Shortly after, Trump also started having issues with the policy decisions DeSantis was making.

Wiles isn’t a current resident inside the beltway. She “last worked in D.C. decades ago in former President Reagan’s Labor Department.” She also kept his White House schedule.

Besides that, she did a stint “on Capitol Hill for the late Representative Jack Kemp.” One of the jobs a White House Chief of Staff does is control access to the president. She’s born for that task.

On the night of his most recent election victory, Trump was sure to praise her in his big speech. “Susie likes to stay sort of in the back,” he laughed. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have power. “The Ice Maiden. We call her the Ice Maiden.” She seems like more of a Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds but we’ll wait and see what she’s like on the job before passing judgment.

Former chief of staff Mark Meadows agrees that she’s a perfect fit for the job. “President Trump has made an excellent choice in Susie Wiles,” he posts on social media. “She will do a tremendous job in leading the team and helping deliver on the America First agenda.
