Once and future President Donald Trump promised on Friday that once he’s elected, he’ll “carry out mass deportations of undocumented immigrants, starting in Springfield, Ohio, and Aurora, Colorado.” Whether the Haitians are eating neighborhood pets or not, they’ve got to go.
Trump promises deportations
Once he’s elected, Donald Trump will do whatever it takes to round up the estimated 20 million illegal aliens freeloading off of Uncle Sam. He’ll stick them on planes, boats and buses and ship them off to wherever they came from.
When he brought up the rumors swirling around Springfield, Ohio, at the big debate with Kamala Harris, it kicked over a hornet’s nest of controversy.
Trump wants to Make America Great Again with “the largest deportation in the history of our country.” He was hanging out at his Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, and stopped to talk to the press.
“We’re going to start with Springfield and Aurora,” he declares. In Springfield, migrants are accused of eating the pets and local wildlife. Officials say that’s not true but admit their driving is a menace to society.
In Aurora, Colorado, a suburb of Denver, the Tren de Aragua gang has been terrorizing the neighborhood. They’ve allegedly “taken over” three apartment complexes. Again, officials are debunking the most salacious claims while admitting the gang has a huge presence in the area and they’re responsible for a lot of violent crime.
They aren’t actually planning to take any action to stop it, so try to play it down. Trump isn’t letting them off the hook that easy. he “may hold campaign events in one or both cities.”
Nothing but fear mongering
Democrats are going spastic trying to “fact check” and nit pick every statement for inaccuracy. The pet eating rumors came from “around” Springfield and weren’t actually verified officially. That doesn’t mean everyone in town weren’t repeating them.
That’s how Trump picked up on the controversy. Officials aren’t actually disputing that geese are disappearing from neighborhood parks, either. In Denver, the spin doctors are working just as hard. They don’t want to admit that their sanctuary policies allowed violent crime to spiral out of control.
Mayor Mike Coffman and Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky issued a joint statement of denial. “The prison gang Tren de Aragua has not ‘taken over‘ Aurora.” Springfield used the same template for their denial.
“There have been no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.” Keep it simple, that way it’s easier to defend in court later. Trump isn’t falling for the media misdirection.
One thing is certain, once Donald Trump started talking about Haitian migrants eating people’s pets in Springfield, the attention has been moving mountains. Even before the debate, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine sent troops in to Springfield. Mostly, they will be there to help educate the Haitians on how to drive and make sure they have all the necessary vaccine shots.
The last thing they need on top of all the other bad publicity is an epidemic of something nasty. All Trump has to do is make a statement and it starts a flurry of activity that makes the Biden administration look like they’ve been asleep for the last three years.
