Hamas supporting protesters aren’t happy with the security arrangements in place for the GOP convention. Not only will the howling mob be shifted a block away from all the action, attendees will be packing heat. They’re allowed to carry guns inside a secure perimeter. There’s no way Republicans are going to allow the sort of Iranian sponsored riots and mayhem that are breaking out in campus demonstrations across the country.
Republicans plan security
Security will be tight for the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. More than “50,000 Republican delegates and GOP party stalwarts” are expected to attend. Law and order is a huge part of the Republican platform.
So, expect to see a lot of it on display when the convention kicks off. It runs from Monday, July 15, through Thursday, when they officially nominate Donald Trump.
Antisemitic demonstrators “will be kept blocks from the main convention site.” According to the security plan, all protesters will be penned in to “an area outside of the fenced-off perimeter around the complex.”

Republicans have been working closely with the Secret Service for months, crafting a plan to “keep a potential 5,000 protesters away from the proceedings.” They’ve had to fight against liberal activists and the city of Milwaukee every step of the way.
Security planning started a long time ago but the fight over allowing protests at the RNC “grew urgent after campus demonstrations erupted across the country this spring over the ongoing war in Gaza.”
Not only does it illuminate, as left-leaning Politico notes, “the disruptive power of protests,” it shines a light on the disruptive power of Iranian cash. Recent reports exposed that Iran is funding the organizers of the Pro-Hamas riots.
Liberals target Chicago
The liberal anarchists aren’t too upset. Most of them are planning to hit the Democratic convention in Chicago. That’s their real target, this year. They’re furious that Joe Biden has been doing so much to help the Israelis. They’re howling for his head and planing to write in Rashida Tlaib for president.
Even though they aren’t the main event to rioting mobs, “Republicans wanted to ensure that the gathering to formally install former President Donald Trump as their party’s nominee goes smoothly while projecting a tough-on-crime message.” You can never have too much security, they note.
“We are the party that backs law enforcement and law and order. And so I do think it’s important that we make sure that we live up to that reputation. And I think that we will,” Sandy Wiedmeyer assures. He’s chair of the Republican Party of Kenosha County and a convention delegate.

They’re setting up a big wide perimeter and allowing the security of coming armed. Just not concealed carry without a permit and no guns inside the building.
Meanwhile, “demonstrators have been livid that they couldn’t march closer to the convention complex located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee at the Fiserv Forum and Wisconsin Center District.” They want to be “within sight and sound” of the arena “to get their messages across.” You can’t annoy anyone from a block away.
Security guards at every gate “sets a terrible precedent,” one agitator fumes. Omar Flores serves as co-chair of the Coalition to March on the RNC 2024. That’s “the group organizing the largest” demonstration. “I mean, they could just rent out our whole city and then the whole thing becomes a credential zone.“
