The Biden intelligence letter that disavowed the Hunter Biden laptop story just gets better and better.
There are several reports floating around about this right now, so I am going to do my best to get this straight.
The two scenarios are that either former CIA boss Michael Morell misled the signers into thinking the letter would be cleared by the CIA, or the CIA knowingly cleared the letter in record time, but failed to add the usual disclaimers to it before it was published.
The Story
We know Morell was the one that was contacting everyone to sign the letter.
This happened after an alleged phone call with Antony Blinken, who planted the seed for the letter with Morell.
We also know the letter was created specifically as a talking point for Joe Biden.
This came on via the solicitation emails that Morell was sending out.
For instance, the letter stated that it had been “drafted the attached because we believe the Russians were involved in some way in the Hunter Biden email issue and because we think Trump will attack Biden on the issue at this week’s debate and we want to give the VP a talking point to use in response.”
Morell allegedly told everyone that he would have the letter cleared with the CIA.
Attorney Tim Parlatore stated, “Either he lied or somebody at the CIA violated their own policies.
“When you think about the speed at which the CIA works in their pre-publication process, that would be pretty stunning to get an OK that quickly without the required disclaimers.
“It would implicate someone within the CIA in the plot against the president [Trump].”
The CIA has not yet commented on this matter.
