Police in Tampa, Florida, are considering charges against him but they haven’t decided for sure, yet. Meanwhile, additional young victims of the female sexual predator have come forward. Officials think there’s probably some more.
Video of dad goes public
Not only was Alyssa Zinger’s dad in total denial, he flat out lied to the cops. When the serial sexual predator’s crimes first came to light, officers of the Tampa Police Department showed up at the family home with a search warrant.
They were there to “seize her devices.” At the time, they only knew about one of the middle school boys the 23-year-old deceptively seduced.
Instinctively, dad went into protection mode. He insisted to cops “that she was actually the victim.” He knew all about the 13-year-old boy she was “dating.” If he knew she was posing as a 14-year-old online, just to get her jollies, he covered it up. The whole conversation was captured on police bodycam.
“She got messed up with the wrong kid,” Zinger’s dad acknowledged. These things happen, “you know, even though he’s a lot younger.” Apparently, for her, it happens a lot.
Alyssa was “arrested on a slew of sex crime charges last November after police received a tip.” Her latest conquest got busted for shoplifting while she was with him. He was stunned to learn she wasn’t 14.

Never been in trouble
Those quiet girls are the ones you have to watch. Her dad was apparently oblivious to what she was up to when he wasn’t around. “She’s never been in trouble in her life,” he told the police. “Nothing.” Then, “she met a kid.” He was young and frisky once himself, so, was willing to turn a blind eye, “even though he’s young.”
Suddenly realizing who he was babbling at, he got creative. “That’s why we’re in this situation. She never been in trouble in her life until she met him — and this kid’s like insane.”
Police already had the boy’s side of the story and they weren’t deflected by what dad had to say. This kid, he accused, “is 14 years old, he’s got girls at his house, videotaping them, making porn at 14.” Actually, 13. He corrupted her, the father suggested.
“My daughter’s 22, she was a virgin ’til she was 21.” They found a totally different story on her computer and phone. To cover any holes he may have left in his story, he added that his “beautiful young daughter” had “a lot of problems” and “mental issues.” You bet she does.
Currently, Alyssa stands “accused of engaging in at least 30 sexual acts with at least one middle school student between the ages of 12 and 15, as well as sending explicit videos to several others.”
Snapchat was the platform of choice. Contrary to what her dad believed, she wasn’t as pure as the driven snow. Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw calls her a “predator” and knows she has more victims. “It is disturbing and unsettling to see an adult take advantage of a child and prey on them,” he declared.
