After the spin doctors and script writers got done drafting a nasty letter to Benjamin Netanyahu, Antony Blinken and Lloyd Austin signed off on it. On Monday, they warned the IDF that “shipments of U.S. weapons” could be “affected” if the Israelis don’t “take steps within 30 days to improve the conditions in Gaza.” Since they’re obviously over a barrel, they’ll make a show of feeding the terrorists. They’re not going to stop the bombs or pull back the tanks, though.
Israel to feed Gaza
The whole idea, Israel snarls, behind starving the families of Hamas terrorists, is to get them to surrender. Sending them food will only make the war last longer. The goat humpers can feast like kings as soon as they lay down their weapons but that’s apparently still not an option.
When they got the letter, the Israelis rushed to get some damage control out over the media, showing one plane after another dropping boxes of food in by parachute.
If the Democrats could keep their leaks plugged and mind their own business, Israel would have things in their part of the world totally under control. Instead, Joe and Kamala’s handlers keep sabotaging Israeli efforts to win the war decisively.
Democrats are pushing the World Economic Forum view of long, drawn-out back and forth battles. That way, the European banking families can keep selling weapons to both sides while loaning them the money to buy them, at steep interest.
Israeli officials, left-leaning Axios reports, “have been assuring their U.S. counterparts that Israel will act quickly to improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza following an ultimatum from the Biden administration.”
State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller insists we’re not trying to shaft our ally by weaseling out of our end of the arms deal. The letter, he assures, “was not intended as a pretext for withholding weapons.” Even though that’s exactly what it is.
He can’t talk about it
Miller would love to explain all about it but he can’t. They’re convinced that they have enough leverage to convince Netanyahu to see the light, though. “There are implications under U.S. law that I’m not going to speak to here largely because we hope that Israel makes the changes that the Secretary outlined in the letter.”
If they don’t there will be serious hell to pay. It’s interesting that Joe’s handlers gave them a 30 day window to comply. By the time the deadline rolls around, Donald Trump may be in charge. The Israelis aren’t missing that point.
After Prime Minister Netanyahu stopped shouting and swearing, “senior Israeli officials” put out a statement giving lip service to Democrat demands.
“The situation in Gaza has deteriorated in contrast with the Israeli Cabinet’s official policy on sustaining humanitarian aid, and this could be a chance to correct the course.” Israel will drop in a few CARE packages and keep blasting.
On Wednesday, Israel Defense Forces announced that “50 trucks carrying humanitarian aid — including food, water, medical supplies, and shelter equipment provided by Jordan — were transferred on Wednesday to the northern Gaza Strip via Jordan.”
They’re also including a bonus shipment of pagers and radios to help Hamas regain communications ability, they snicker. “Resuming the humanitarian aid channel from Jordan to northern Gaza, which had been suspended in recent weeks, was one of the demands in the U.S. letter.” Donald Trump is currently leading in the polls by a nose. Behind the scenes, Israel is donating to his super PAC.
