NYT reporter criticizes colleagues 'traumatized' by Jan. 6 riot in hidden camera sting

Explosive Report Reveals DOJ Bombshell!

It took about six years, but the media is finally starting to turn on Democrats.

For the first two years of his time in office, Biden has been treated with kid gloves.

That has changed rather dramatically over the last few weeks with more and more evidence mounting against Joe Biden regarding Hunter’s business activities.

Finally…

The media is still giving Biden a pass on past digressions, such as the Afghanistan withdrawal and illegal immigration.

What it is finally reporting on is the possibility that Joe Biden was in cahoots with Hunter Biden in his business dealings.

A recent WhatsApp conversation has been the particular focus of most outlets, seemingly a smoking gun that Joe was in the middle of all of this.

To that point, the New York Times recently confirmed a claim about the mishandling of the DOJ probe into Hunter Biden.

However, the outlet has not gone completely straight here.

Rather than posting it on the front page, as it would have done with a Trump investigation revelation, the confirmation was buried deep inside the Tuesday report.

The report confirmed that U.S. Attorney David Weiss allegedly told multiple witnesses that he was forbidden from bringing charges against Hunter Biden in CA and DC.

The Times report stated, “But in mid-2022, Mr. Weiss reached out to the top federal prosecutor in Washington, Matthew Graves, to ask his office to pursue charges and was rebuffed, according to Mr. Shapley’s testimony.

“A similar request to prosecutors in the Central District of California, which includes Los Angeles, was also rejected, Mr. Shapley testified.

“A second former I.R.S. official, who has not been identified, told House Republicans the same story.

“That episode was confirmed independently to The New York Times by a person with knowledge of the situation.”

This was buried in the 21st paragraph of the NYT report with no actual hint of the interference in the headline, with read, “Competing Accounts of Justice Dept. ‘s Handling of Hunter Biden Case.”

That headline should have had the interference front and center, but I guess we should just be happy they actually included the confirmation of the alleged interference in the report.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has, of course, denied that he had done anything wrong.

He responded, “As I said at the outset, Mr. Weiss, who was appointed by President Trump as the U.S. attorney in Delaware and assigned this matter during the previous administration, would be permitted to continue his investigation and to make a decision to prosecute any way in which he wanted to and in any district in which he wanted to.

“Mr. Weiss has since sent a letter to the House Judiciary Committee confirming that he had that authority.

“He was given complete authority to make all decisions on his own behalf.”

Just because you keep saying it does not mean it is true, Mr. Garland.
