Donald Trump‘s newly launched website has an important feature. His supporters can now invite the former president and former First Lady Melania Trump to events or engagements.
The website states:
“Thank you for your interest in inviting Donald J. Trump or Melania Trump to participate in your event. In an effort to ensure that your invitation is received in a timely manner, it is strongly recommended that you submit your request using the form below.
Due to the volume of invitations President and Mrs. Trump receive, we will not provide status updates. Thank you for your understanding.”
The website also allows people to request specialized greetings or messages from Donald or Melania Trump, and share messages or thoughts with the couple. The occasions listed for requesting a greeting are: “Birthday (adult), Birthday (child), Birthday (veteran), Military retirement, Wedding, Wedding anniversary, Condolence, New baby welcome, Graduation, Girl Scout gold award and Eagle Scout award.”
Unlike other celebrities and politicians, Trump’s website does not mention charging a fee for any of the services, or for scheduling personal appearances by the former president or the former first lady.
