Cancel culture fails! A conservative star in The Mandalorian: A Star Wars Story, Ms. Gina Carano has defied leftist cancel culture and rather than going quietly into the good night, her star has begun to skyrocket!

Not only is former UFC fighter turned actress Carano’s star on the rise, she’s the most popular star on IMDB! Talk about a comeback! The actress was controversially fired by Disney after she posted to Instagram an image depicting a Jewish woman running from Nazi guards with the caption comparing the “othering” of conservatives by the left to the divisiveness among Germans which led to the holocaust during the Third Reich.

Carano wrote according to DailyWire,
Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors … even by children.
“Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”
The response on social media was immediate with #WeLoveGinaCarano trending virally amongst conservative and libertarian users, conservative and libertarian personalities universally condemned the action from Disney/Lucasfilm

Typically an actor or actress being at the top of the IMDB list would indicate a level of success or popularity in mainstream Hollywood but Carano’s rise is unique. Yes, it is absolutely related to her fantastic portrayal of New Republic Soldier Cara Dune in The Mandalorian, but it is seen also as a stern rebuke of Disney’s abrupt cancellation of her, which she believes was planned well in advance with the instagram post a mere excuse. This is because Carano has been an outspoken conservative for quite some time and this was not the first call for her “cancellation”.

Fresh off of the successful release of Run, Hide, Fight The Daily Wire’s co-founder and Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro reached out to Carano almost immediately according to DailyWire, “Shapiro welcomed Carano, touting her work as an actress and slamming Disney for cutting the star for “offending the authoritarian Hollywood Left.” Daily Wire shortly after announced they have hired Carano to produce and star in an as yet unnamed feature film.
“We could not be more excited to be working with Gina Carano, an incredible talent dumped by Disney and Lucasfilm for offending the authoritarian Hollywood Left. This is what Daily Wire exists to do: provide an alternative not just for consumers, but for creators who refuse to bow to the mob,” said Shapiro. “We’re eager to bring Gina’s talent to Americans who love her, and we’re just as eager to show Hollywood that if they want to keep cancelling those who think differently, they’ll just be helping us build the X-wing to take down their Death Star.” Shapiro said.
Shapiro also a devout Jew particularly took issue with the accusation that Carano’s post and by extension she herself is “anti-semetic”.
“Social movements have consequences, and we are now in the middle of a mass social movement to expel half of the American population from the body politic,” Shapiro added. He further pointed out Disney’s massive hypocrisy of working with the Chinese government on production of Mulan in spite of the ongoing Uighur Muslim Genocide.

Carano told the Daily Wire, “The Daily Wire is helping make one of my dreams — to develop and produce my own film — come true. I cried out and my prayer was answered,” Carano said in a statement Friday. “I am sending out a direct message of hope to everyone living in fear of cancellation by the totalitarian mob. I have only just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. They can’t cancel us if we don’t let them.”
