Shop NowThe goat-humping Houthis infesting Yemen just got an express delivery of high explosives from America. On Wednesday, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced that five underground weapons storage locations were targeted for “precision strikes” by Air Force B-2 bombers.
Hot for the Houthis
Things are so hot for the Houthis that they’re going to be screaming for Yemen aid. They’ll need it to rebuild their cities from rubble.
On Wednesday, the Pentagon announced that our stealth bombers “targeted ‘hardened‘ underground facilities.” These special bunkers were “used to store weapons components.” That means missile parts.
The Houthis use the Iranian supplied rockets “to target civilian and military vessels in the region.” As Austin brags, “this was a unique demonstration of the United States’ ability to target facilities that our adversaries seek to keep out of reach, no matter how deeply buried underground, hardened or fortified.”
The Ayatollah should be happy they aren’t coming after him.
“The employment of US Air Force B-2 Spirit long-range stealth bombers,” Secretary Austin told the press, “demonstrate U.S. global strike capabilities to take action against these targets when necessary, anytime, anywhere.”
As the Houthis learned, the way to bomb a deep bunker is with one explosion after another in the same place, each detonating inside the crater made by the one before. That can give a headache to anyone within a mile or so.

Make them stop
The idea behind this week’s bombing was to convince the Houthis that attacking oil tankers won’t be tolerated. As Austin mentioned, “Houthi attacks continued to disrupt international trade.”
Trying to show Israel we really are on their side, no matter what Kamala says, the Pentagon made a move to put the Iranian sponsored mercenaries out of business.
The bomb strikes “degrade the Houthis’ capability to continue their destabilizing behavior” They can’t fire rockets that melted.
That will also “protect and defend US forces and personnel in one of the world’s most critical waterways.” The Houthis are angry but not ready to back down.
For the past year, the Yemen based group has been lobbing rockets and launching drones to carry out “more than 100” attacks on ships traversing the Red Sea. While the Houthis claim they’re doing it as a “show of support for Palestinians facing Israeli bombardment” they don’t seem to care who they target. They have “attacked vessels with no obvious connection to the war.”
The situation in the whole region is unstable and as fluid as mercury. There’s a huge showdown brewing between Israel and Iran. Just because Netanyahu promised Biden he won’t blow up the Ayatollah’s oil fields doesn’t mean he won’t do something just as drastic. The Houthis are only a small distraction.
