President Donald Trump is opening up Guantanamo Bay as a club fed detention center for criminal aliens. He recently announced the next lucky 30,000 criminals “suspected of being in the country illegally” win an all expense paid trip to Cuba.
Guantanamo Bay detention center
President Donald Trump broke the news about a detention center at Guantanamo Bay as he was signing the Laken Riley Act. On Wednesday, January 29, he made it official with an executive order.
The Laken Riley Act, “requires” the detention of undocumented immigrants accused of crimes. He knows just where to send them.
“We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people,” the president announced. “We don’t want them coming back.”
So, he adds, we’re sending them to Cuba. Joe Biden didn’t let all the terrorists go from there but they will have separate housing.
As left-tilted Axios relates. “There were still 15 prisoners being held at Guantanamo Bay as of the Pentagon’s January 6 update, but a separate facility will hold immigrants.”
Trump directed the secretaries of Defense and Homeland Security “to take all appropriate actions.”

Migrant Operations Center
It’s time to break the existing infrastructure out of the mothballs. Officials got the green light to “expand the Migrant Operations Center at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay to full capacity.”
Anyone charged under the Laken Riley Act will be sent there. Joe Biden has been housing them in hotels. At least in Cuba they’ll be closer to the equatorial climate most hail from.
Democrats don’t have any way to stop it, so they complain about the cost. “Holding immigrants in facilities is by far the largest cost of the deportation process.” American citizens don’t get murdered, though.

Not when the criminals are held in Guantanamo. Those hotel rooms were a lot pricier than the tents New York gang criminals are headed for.
Currently, “ICE only has about 38,000 people in detention.” That means there’s room for a whole lot more in Cuba. Besides the supermax facility at Guantanamo, ICE has a ranch in Texas to use as a migrant corral for the deportation rodeo.
Axios notes we’re about to see “a mass building project of ‘soft detention‘ centers, or temporary facilities, to house people.” They aren’t happy about it. Too bad liberals can’t be shipped to Guantanamo. Some say that would be a great way to make America “great” again.
