Shop NowThe Heritage Foundation has been taking serious heat since they unleashed Project 2025 on the world. The think tank has rather controversial suggestions for transitioning government in a conservative direction. Even Donald Trump considers many of their ideas too far over the top. Liberals really hate them. Especially “gay furry hackers.” The Signal chat logs between them and Heritage executive Mike Howell were an interesting exchange.
Heritage Foundation trolls furries
Negotiations on a ransom didn’t go real well, between SiegedSec and Heritage Foundation executive Mike Howell. It seems a collective of self-proclaimed “gay furry hackers” targeted the conservatives to protest Project 2025.
They posted a screen shot of a chat between one of their hackers and Howell. They prefer the messaging app Signal to communicate with their victims.
The Foundation, Howell asserted, wasn’t afraid of the amateur hackers and were “in the process of identifying and outing members of your group” with help from the FBI. “Closeted Furries will be presented to the world for the degenerate perverts they are.”

He was chatting with one of SiegedSec’s leaders, using “vio” as a screen name. “Your means are minuscule compared to mine. You now can either turn yourself in or you can cooperate.” Nobody expects them to turn themselves in.
Howell cheerfully confirmed the chat logs are accurate. The Daily Dot wanted to make sure before they printed what the Executive Director of the Heritage Foundation allegedly tapped out in chat. It is a little bit R-rated.
Howell was in a private conversation at the time and didn’t mince words. “SiegedSec also provided screenshots of the discussion to The Intercept.”

What do you want?
Howell began the chat trying to cut to the chase and get directly to business. “What is that you are seeking or threatening?” On Tuesday, they had “posted a small cache of Heritage Foundation files.” They hadn’t been actually hacked. Instead, SiegedSec “stumbled upon a two-year-old archive of the Daily Signal website that was available on a public-facing website owned by a contractor.”
The conservatives then announced publicly, “the story of a ‘hack‘ is a false narrative and exaggeration by a group of criminal trolls trying to get attention.” Vio admitted that’s exactly what they’re after. Then he got trolled hard, by his intended victim.
“We want to make a message and shine light on who exactly supports the Heritage Foundation,” vio responded. “We don’t want anything more than that, not money and not fame. We’re strongly against Project 2025 and everything the Heritage Foundation stands for.”
#SiegedSec the "Gay Furry Hackivists" is exactly the energy I need going after Project 2025

Vio didn’t like what Howell typed back. “Are you aware that you won’t be able to wear a furry tiger costume when you’re getting pounded in the ass in the federal prison I put you in next year?”
The gay furry hacker was offended. He threatened “to dox Howell” and share such “unprofessional language from an executive director.” Go ahead, make my day. “Please share widely,” Howell tapped back. “I hope the word spreads as fast as the STDs do in your degenerate furry community.”
An hour after the Heritage Foundation beat down, “SiegedSec announced it was disbanding.” It’s for “our own mental health, the stress of mass publicity, and to avoid the eye of the FBI.” They won’t get away that easy. If they’re lucky they can be cellmates with Sam Brinton.
