Outbreaks of violence in Tel Aviv have pushed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to his breaking point, causing him to call for the mass deportation of African migrants from the country.
Over the past few months, thousands of Africans have managed to make their way into Israel through its porous borders, and they have become an increasingly visible presence in many cities.
This influx has raised serious concerns about the future of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, leading Netanyahu to take decisive action.
Netanyahu has sought to address this issue by building a fence at the border that would prevent any further illegal infiltration from Africa.

Despite facing opposition from both security forces and political rivals, he was able to push forward with his plan and successfully stop the flow of people coming across the border.
However, there are still tens of thousands who arrived prior to construction being completed on the fence.
Of these people, only 12 000 were voluntarily repatriated with incentives offered by Netanyahu’s government.
He also refused to accept a proposal from the United Nations which would give citizenship to 16 000 illegal infiltrators; he deemed this as too generous as it could create an even bigger incentive for more Africans to attempt entry into Israel.
Things got worse recently when massive brawls broke out in Tel Aviv due to tension between locals and migrants from Eritrea and Sudan; several police officers were injured while trying to contain them.
As far as Netanyahu is concerned this was crossing a red line that cannot be tolerated; he now intends on taking strong steps against those responsible including expelling them immediately if necessary.
Furthermore, he wants his government officials present at the forum to come up with a comprehensive plan that will ensure all remaining illegal infiltrators are returned back home safely without delay or incident – something that should be taken seriously given recent events in Tel Aviv.
