Gov. Abbott Fights Back Against Biden’s Regime

A bus from Texas arrived in the nation’s capital dropping off dozens of illegal immigrants just blocks away from Congress and the White House. The convoy is part of Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s push to secure the southern border and stem the flow of illegal immigration from Central America.

The Republican unveiled his plan last week, saying he has directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to organize the buses. Abbott’s actions seem to be a mocking reflection of the Biden-Harris regime’s exposed efforts to bus and fly illegal immigrants from the border to unprepared and unknowing small cities throughout America’s heartland combined with a bit of poetic justice. He’s bringing a problem that was neglectfully left by the Federal government for Austin to handle… directly on their doorstep.

“To help local officials — because communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden Administration — Texas is providing charter buses for these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off to Washington, DC,” Abbott said in announcing the move last week.

“The bus pulled up at approximately 8 a.m. local time, blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building. Fox News has learned that they came from the Del Rio sector in Texas, after coming to the U.S. from Colombia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela,” reports Fox News. “Upon the bus’s arrival in Washington, D.C., individuals disembarked one by one except for family units who exited together. They checked in with officials and had wristbands they were wearing cut off before being told they could go.”

“Texans demand and deserve an aggressive, comprehensive strategy to secure our border—not President Biden’s lackluster leadership,” Abbott said in a statement. “As the federal government continues to roll back commonsense policies that once kept our communities safe, our local law enforcement has stepped up to protect Texans from dangerous criminals, deadly drugs, and illegal contraband flooding into the Lone Star State.”
