Damning new photos have emerged of Joe Biden returning from a five day trip to Europe. When Biden stepped back onto U.S. soil on November 3rd, his face said it all: the Democrats’ devastating defeat in multiple elections overnight spells doom for 2022.
The New York Post characterized Joe Biden’s look upon returning from his trip as “crestfallen,” saying that 78 year old Biden “cast his eyes to the ground, his face etched with concern soon after stepping off Air Force One as the Democrats faced a series of crushing losses in expected strongholds.”
With Biden’s approval rating currently sitting at just 38 percent, and Kamala Harris’ approval rating at an abysmal 28 percent, the Democrats’ losses on November 2nd were especially devastating news.
These elections spell trouble for the Democrats in 2022, predicting that Republicans will likely take back the House and the Senate next year.
Before leaving for Europe, Biden admitted it, saying: “I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say that the House and Senate majorities and my presidency will be determined by what happens in the next week.”
Despite the fact that Biden won Virginia by 10 percentage points in 2020, Republican Glenn Youngkin easily beat Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the state’s governor race, showing just how much the state’s political opinions changed in just one year.
While Joe Biden and the Democrats mourned their losses, conservatives celebrated the victories on Twitter.
“Congratulations to Governor @GlennYoungkin on a HUGE victory! Glenn will serve the people of Old Dominion well with common sense Conservative policies that will benefit parents, families, and hard-working Virginians! The Conservative Comeback is HERE!” wrote former Vice President Mike Pence.
