John Fetterman finally offered up a report from his doctor.
The doctor was general practitioner who claimed that Fetterman “is recovering well from his stroke and his health has continued to improve.”
That document is not even worth the paper it is printed on.
The Problems
Dr. Clifford Chen (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) wrote, “Occasional words he will ‘miss’ which seems like he doesn’t hear the word but it is actually not processed properly.
“His hearing of sound such as music is not affected.
“His communication is significantly improved compared to his first visit assisted by speech therapy which he has attended on a regular basis since the stroke.”
He added that Fetterman has “no work restrictions and can work full duty in public office.”
As it turns out, Dr. Chen is a donor of Fetterman’s, having given $1,300 toward his campaign.
He has donated another $2,945 to other Democrat candidates.
Finally, this is Fetterman’s PCP, not a specialist, so his assessment is basically worthless.
How about we get an independent specialist to examine Fetterman? Or is that asking a bit too much to have real transparency?
