All it took was a Donald Trump campaign sign to send an unhinged Michigan Democrat into a fit of homicidal rage. This tragic incident simply goes to show the effects of liberal policies. Progressives refuse to lock dangerous mental patients safely away from ordinary, law-abiding citizens. Then again, progressives don’t like laws. They’ve practically decriminalized crime everywhere they have a foothold. Michigan is one of those liberal bastions.
Trump sign made him a target
An 80-year-old Michigan Republican was nearly killed for planting a Trump sign in his yard. The brutal attack happened on Sunday, July 21, in the city of Hancock. The unnamed 22-year-old suspect mowed down and critically injured the octogenarian with an all-terrain vehicle.
After that, he made things easy for everyone, especially himself, by calling to confess. He did that the next day, then shot himself in the head before police arrived.
The police aren’t having any difficulty calling this a “politically motivated attack.” They got a call from the killer to confess before he did himself in. The elderly gentleman wasn’t his only victim.

Police confirm he “vandalized two parked vehicles, smashing the windows of one that displayed a Trump sticker, and damaging the tires of another that had a sticker supporting police.” Obviously, he’s a Democrat.
According to a statement from the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office, “the crimes reported in the city of Hancock appeared to be politically motivated.”
Detectives reached that conclusion because all the crimes involve “victims who displayed Trump election signs as well as law enforcement appreciated stickers and flags commonly referred to as ‘thin blue line‘ paraphernalia.” He won’t be doing that anymore.
Critical injuries
The elderly Trump supporter was transported to the nearest trauma center with “critical injuries after being struck from behind by the suspect’s ATV.” He never saw it coming. The next day, “police went to a nearby home after receiving a call.”
The person wanted to “confess a crime involving an ATV driver within the last 24 hours.” He then asked “police to come pick him up.”
When officers got there, “they found the suspect dead from what they suspect was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

With all the conspiracy theories swirling around the attempted assassination of Trump, they can’t be too loose making assumptions. “What this has done to this community is pretty upsetting,” Hancock Police Chief Tami Sleeman told reporters.
Their big concern “is the safety of everybody here. Politics should not bring violence.” For now, they don’t think anyone else was involved. They seized “electronics” from the man’s home that they’re poking into, along with the FBI.
The recent attempt on the life of Donald Trump has “spurred bipartisan calls to lower the temperature of political rhetoric in the run-up to November’s election” but it’s a little late to stop the spinning wheels of progress set in motion by the Democrats.
