Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is once again issuing thinly veiled calls for violence, as she stated that Democrats need to “punch” to win elections and called for a Republican senator to be “knocked” in the head.
Crockett, who is already under fire for egging on the left’s terrorist attacks against Tesla, made the remarks during an interview with NBC5’s Phil Prazan and Dallas Morning News’ Gromer Jeffers.
“How do you win elections in Texas as a Democrat? What do you do? Especially statewide,” the hosts asked Crockett.
“I think that you punch,” Crockett said, once again using violent language. “I think you punch. I think you’re ok with — you’re ok with punching.”
“You know, I think, and I love Colin, and I think towards the end, he started to punch a little harder,” she added, referring to former Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX), who lost his bid to oust Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) by nearly one million votes in the 2024 Senate race.
Crockett then took her violent rhetoric even further, this time actually advocating for someone to physically attack Cruz.
“But, like, it’s Ted Cruz. I mean, like, This dude has to be knocked over the head, like, hard, right?” she stated. “Like, there is no niceties with him, like, at all. Like, you go clean off on him, right?”

Her comments sparked outrage on social media, with many people calling for her to be investigated, censured, prosecuted, and even expelled from Congress for her violent rhetoric.

This is not the first time in recent days that Crockett made controversial remarks, as Attorney General Pam Bondi has already warned the Democrat congresswoman of the consequences for advocating for violence against Tesla and its CEO, Elon Musk. Crockett joined a “Tesla Takedown” protest organization phone call last week, where she said that what she wanted for her birthday was for people to “take down” Musk.

Crockett is also under fire for mocking Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) disability, as she called him “Governor Hot Wheels” during a speech at a Human Rights Campaign event.
“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there, c’mon now,” she said, adding: “And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot-ass mess, honey.”
Jasmine Crockett continues to embarrass herself, the state of Texas, and the US Congress by referring to Governor Greg Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels.” Gov. Abbott was paralyzed at the age of 26 when an oak tree fell and crushed his spine while jogging.
