Conservatives Pull a Win Against Incumbent Moderate in Primary

Conservative powerhouse Lauren Boebert pulled off an impressive congressional win when she beat five-term moderate Republican congressman Rep. Scott Tipton.

Conservative In – RINO Out

In an exciting turn of events, a staunchly conservative candidate was able to unseat a known moderate incumbent in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District on Tuesday.

The media reported that Tipton’s re-election was a strong possibility, but the people of Colorado had different plans for their increasingly blue state.

The small businesswoman who owns the Shooters Grill restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, will now face off against Democrat Diane Mitsch in November’s general election. Tipton claimed victory over Mitsch in 2018 in a district that comprises the southern and western parts of the Centennial state.

Boebert Echos Conservative Values

Boebert’s strong conservative values have the left and mainstream media labeling her as a far-right candidate. She has gained support from high-profile Republicans, with President Trump even tweeting her congratulations on the big win.

National Republican Campaign Committee Chairman Tom Emmer also lent his praise, saying, “Congratulations to Lauren Boebert on her big primary win last evening. Lauren won her primary fair and square and has our support. This is a Republican seat and will remain a Republican seat as Nancy Pelosi and senior House Democrats continue peddling their radical conspiracy theories and pushing their radical cancel culture.”

Boebert came to fame for her strong support of the Second Amendment, backing of President Trump, pro-life stance and border control desires. She also is no stranger to fighting back against Democrat agendas.

“I’m excited and eager to take this fight on to the Democrats and represent the people of the 3rd Congressional District, just like I’ve been promising them I would,” she said after polls closed, according to reporting by The Denver Post.

No Nonsense Approach Worked

When radical Democrat Beto O’Rourke was campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination in Denver, Boebert drove to his campaign stop and declared, “‘Hell no, you’re not going to take our guns.”

Earlier this year, Democrat Gov. Jared Polis worked to get her food license suspended when she defied his safer-at-home order by opening her restaurant.

“Governor Polis, your policies are literally bankrupting small businesses like mine that are trying their very best to responsibly stay afloat,” she wrote on Facebook. “This has to stop.”

Her no-nonsense approach to standing up for American’s constitutional rights has brought her not only local, but nationwide attention.

November Is Coming Quickly

If the trend of true conservatives beating out RINOs continues, the country will certainly have the potential to bring back constitutional order.

Despite polls and the media claiming her victory as being a longshot, Boebert secured a big win. Now the attention turns to November, where the elections will decide the fate of the United States going forward.
