Congress is demanding “transparency” from Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, about the content moderation policy for their new text-based alternative to Twitter. Jim Jordan and his fellow Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee aren’t going to let “Lizard Boy” Mark Zuckerberg get away with trampling free speech.
Show us the censorship policy
On July 17, Jim Jordan, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, sent off a document request for a rundown on the official censorship policy to be used by social media megalith Meta on “Threads.” They’re just a touch concerned about free speech violations. They think some have already happened and want to prevent more in the future. It’s a neon red warning flag when the platform was created specifically because they promise to censor speech.
Jordan gave Zuckerberg until the end of the month to cough up documents “about practices Threads launched earlier this month.” They can’t complain about short notice because, as Jordan pointed out, the committee already sent them a subpoena covering the material all the way back in February.
The platform was created specifically for progressives to have a safe space, far away from the rampant and unchecked free speech raging on Twitter. That’s why their content moderation policy is so important.

Things were fine as long as Jack Dorsey mismanaged the place, now that it’s under control of Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, he’s actually exposing crimes of the Deep State government within a government. Daring to allow ordinary citizens to say what’s really on their minds is something Democrats simply can’t cope with.
As Jordan noted in his letter, his committee is “concerned about potential First Amendment violations that have occurred or will occur on the Threads platform.”
They’re convinced that the policy will spell out their true intention of managing disinformation through silencing the voices of anyone who disagrees with the official Democrat narrative on anything.
Okay if Meta does it
Democrats, especially ones on the Judiciary committee, have been running around in panic mode. They’re terrified that congress or the courts will take away the government’s “disinformation” apparatus. The Ministry of Truth scored a victory by getting the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to block an injunction.
One blocking the coordination between government agencies, officials and employees with any of the social media platforms to censor protected speech. The Deep State can continue doing everything exposed by the Twitter Files for a little longer now. Meta is expected to make it crystal clear in their moderation policy that if you disagree with their arbitrary guidelines, you’re gone.
Democrats claim they can get away with ordering the censorship of free speech because the platform makes that decision on their own. There’s already sufficient evidence to counter that excuse.

If a platform dared to question the government opinion and not remove the offensive post instantly, they got threatened with repercussions, even when the delay was due to a technical glitch in the process of being resolved. All it takes to influence the outcome of a presidential election is the right content moderation policy. That’s why congress is demanding to see this one.
Twitter is currently the only place on the internet where users are free to question things like election integrity, government policy decisions, the lack of criminal charges against Hunter Biden, the re-election of rightful President Donald Trump or any other controversial matter.
Elon Musk was so fed up with the obviously rampant censorship and general mismanagement of the platform under Jack Dorsey and his crew of transgender misfits he spent 44 billion to buy it. Then Lizard Boy comes along, hits copy and paste, then rolls out a liberal replacement. One promising that they’ll censor anything which makes users uncomfortable. That’s exactly why Jim Jordan wants to see the actual policy.
