President Joe Biden was just handed a sick burn from Florida Gov, Ron DeSantis during a speech as he wished “the United States of America a speedy recovery” from his presidency.
DeSantis took a shot at Biden for multiple different issues, which included inflation, immigration policies, and energy while he spoke at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit.
“He came in and cranked the printing presses, kneecapped American energy, and he also opened our southern border,” DeSantis stated during his speech.
“And what we’ve seen in the last year and a half is the largest illegal migration into this country in the history of the United States of America. We have record human trafficking, we have record sex trafficking, and we have record drug trafficking.” He added.
DeSantis even went so far as to compare Biden to a “deer in the headlights” who reads off a teleprompter while delivering a speech.
“With Biden, you think of a guy staring into the teleprompter like a deer in the headlights,” he asserted.
Outside of the criticism, however, DeSantis wished for a “speedy recovery” for Biden along with wishing America ‘speedy recovery’ from Biden’s presidency.
“I must say he did test positive for COVID,” DeSantis added, “And I want to on the behalf of the state of Florida wish President Biden a speedy recovery from COVID. And I also want to wish the United States of America a speedy recovery from Joe Biden.”

The Florida governor also discussed his state’s reaction to COVID-19 as well as the anti-“woke ideology” measures he put in place, which includes the “Don’t Say Gay” statute.

“We make sure in Florida, we do not use our tax dollars to teach our kids to hate this country or to hate each other on the basis of race,” DeSantis said.
“We believe every parent in the state of Florida has a right to send their little kid to elementary school without having radical gender ideology injected into the curriculum. It is totally inappropriate to take some six year old kid and to say, well, ‘You may have been born a boy, but maybe you’re really a girl.’ That is wrong and may fly in California but it does not fly here in the state of Florida,” he said.
Following his retaliation against Newsom earlier this month after the Californian governor ran advertisements in Florida to entice residents to move there.
