Perhaps the biggest moment of the final presidential debate was when President Donald Trump got Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden to publicly admit he plans to “transition from the oil industry.”

Joe Biden Lied Continuously at Debate

Former vice president Joe Biden continually lied throughout Thursday’s debate, but with enough pressing from President Trump, he admitted to one of his big agendas.

After the debate, Biden talked to the press on his way to his airplane. While both he and his radical running mate Kamala Harris have been caught on camera several times saying they will ban fracking, they have lied about the topic in debates.

Press Question Gets Big Answer

The press was able to get Biden to admit he plans to ban fracking, but now he is saying it won’t be in the immediate future.

“Eventually we’re going to have to [get rid of] oil, but we’re not getting rid of fossil fuels. We’re getting rid of the subsidies for fossil fuels, but we’re not getting rid of fossil fuels for a long time,” Biden said in response to a CNN reporter. “It will not be gone for … probably 2050.”

When it comes to fracking, both radical Democrats have made it clear they plan to ban fracking much sooner than 2050.

Trump Wins Again

President Trump was able to get Biden to admit at the debate that he wants to shut down the oil industry.

“I would transition from the oil industry, yes,” Biden said in response to a question from Trump about whether he would close down that sector of the economy.

“It is a big statement… because the oil industry pollutes significantly … it has to be replaced by renewable energy over time… I’d stop giving to the oil industry, I’d stop giving them federal subsidies.”

Trump replied: “That’s maybe the biggest statement in terms of business … because basically what he said is he is going to destroy the oil industry. Will you remember that, Texas? Will you remember that Pennsylvania, Oklahoma?”
