Now the video has gone viral and people are demanding answers.
What Did I Do?
I will be the first to admit the man in the video, James Hodges, could have been a little more understanding, as he immediately copped an attitude, but the officer only seemed to want to pour more gasoline on fire.
The incident escalated quickly between Hodges and the initial officer.
Then, a second officer pulled up and continued to be overly aggressive.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office stated, “Sheriff Hunter is troubled by what he has seen in the video and the matter is being addressed.
“An administrative investigation was initiated on November 3, 2022 when the incident was brought to our attention.
“If policy violations are sustained at the conclusion of that investigation, appropriate action will be taken.”
