Shop NowGeorgia Governor Brian Kemp has already declared a state of emergency for expected anti-police riots in Atlanta. The National Guard has 1,000 troops on the way. That’s really interesting because Tyre Nichols was beaten to death by police in Memphis, Tennessee. There’s a good chance that anti-police protests will go nationwide and the Georgia city is already infested with anarchists. Ones who were fired up enough to commit arson last weekend. Word around the Cop City campground is that the smell of frying bacon is in the wind.
Atlanta braces for Antifa response
Atlanta has a dilemma, even though they’re more than 300 miles away from Memphis, Tennessee. Sometime on Friday, January 27, a highly controversial video will be released. Bodycam footage from the beating suffered by Tyre Nichols. It’s horrific enough to inflame an already edgy Black community. The five Memphis officers who did it were all Black.
That removes any “racial” motivations from the picture, so the local community can focus their anger directly at police. There will be rage. Just ahead of the release, it’s being described as worse than Rodney King. Since these five pigs were bad, the rest are just as bad. All pigs, not just the White ones. And not just in Memphis.
Violence is widely expected in the city of Memphis while pundits are predicting it’s going to go nationwide. Last weekend, an Atlanta police car was firebombed and bank windows were smashed by Antifa-affiliated anarchist guerrillas.

One of their members was killed in a shoot out with troopers, 26-year-old nonbinary Manuel “Tortuguita” Teran. The sniper shot a Georgia trooper from the concealed cover of a tent. The troopers shot back and “Little Turtle” became a martyr for the cause. Then, several others of his guerrilla band were arrested in the resulting night of violence.
Since Atlanta is still reeling from the protests last weekend, Governor Kemp isn’t taking any chances. He declared a state of emergency on Thursday calling up the guard and making “all resources” available to respond.
They still aren’t sure if the local guerrilla saboteurs are behind some recent shoplifting incidents. Ones where fires were started as cover for petty theft. A Target and at least two Walmart stores were torched. Only one Walmart will reopen. If the “Cop City” occupation force wasn’t behind those, they’re cheering for them.

Through February 9
The state of emergency for Atlanta will remain in force until February 9 but Kemp can extend that if it becomes necessary. Ever since the shootout, there has been nightly “unlawful assemblage, violence, overt threats of violence, disruption of the peace and tranquility of this state.”
In addition to “throwing bricks at buildings and setting police cars on fire,” Mayor Andre Dickens reports “some were carrying explosives.”
It’s no surprise that the encamped anarchists protesting a future law enforcement training center would “question” the events “that led to Teran’s death.” They called for an independent investigation. That’s fine. They’ll get one. One that will show the little turtle fired first.

That will never be good enough and he’s already been made a martyr. The write up in the intercept is a miracle of inversion. The left see the events in Atlanta totally upside down from the way right-thinking people see them.
“This will become another Standing Rock,” Casey Sharp warned the liberal outlet. He’s “an archaeologist who has been helping bridge communications between protesters and local leaders.” Sharp relates there “are a lot of locals who are there but there’s a massive network — Telegram channels, Signal, all these other networks of people from all over the world.”
If the Atlanta Cop City project isn’t shelved in response to the bad beating in Memphis “any serious act of police misconduct in the future may drive activists into the street in a replay of 2020.” Maybe even just this video.
