Wyoming GOP Deals Unprecedented Blow To Liz Cheney

RINO Congresswoman Liz Cheney‘s (‘R’-WY) problems have only increased as the candidacy of her Trump-supported primary opponent Harriet Hageman ramps up. The Republican National Committee’s resolution committee just unanimously passed a motion to rebuke Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, agreeing to formally censure them due to their activities on the faux Jan. 6th committee.

The original version called for their expulsion from the conference, unfortunately, old neo-con voices still friendly to the Cheney dynasty seem to have prevailed. The resolution now advances to the full 168-member body for a floor vote that is almost certain to pass. But far worse, in an unprecedented move, the Wyoming GOP has successfully lobbied the RNC to fund Hageman in her challenge against Cheney.

Typically the Republican National Committee has the policy of ‘staying out’ of primary contests but with the Cheney machine behind Liz making for an extremely unfair contest the RNC under Ronna McDaniel seems committed to leveling the playing field.

The RNC’s Unprecedented Moves To Balance The Wyoming Race

According to The Washington Post, at the GOP winter meeting in Salt Lake City, the party wrote that “the behavior of Cheney and Kinzinger “has been destructive to the institution of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Republican Party and our republic.” furthermore the Republican leaders “passed a special rule to recognize her challenger as the party’s presumptive nominee.”

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel explained the move to the Post.

“We’ve had two members engage in a Democrat-led persecution of ordinary citizens who engaged in legitimate political discourse,” she said. “This has gone beyond their original intent. They are not sticking up for hard-working Republicans.”

Cheney using her father’s extensive network of neo-conservative millionaires as a base has approximately $5 million on hand for her primary and general elections, so far Hageman has been able to secure about $500,000, however, most of Cheney’s funding is in a deep, very old war chest, while Hageman is outpacing Cheney in early in-state contributions which suggests a greater grassroots support among her electorate. The introduction of funding from the RNC could make a huge difference, especially if President Trump throughs his astonishing fundraising capability behind Hageman.
