The establishment Republican National Committee in a frustrating display of weakness has removed a 2020 webpage from their site which praised President Donald Trump’s efforts in building the history making Doha Agreement with the now-deposed Afghanistan Government and the Taliban. An agreement which many analysts agree, had Biden adhered to, could have created a much different outcome in Kabul with the controlled integration of Taliban leadership into the Afghanistan legislature in a unified government. The move, which is being interpreted by the press and the left as an implicit admission of guilt is leaving many conservative members of the GOP asking: Why? The Doha Agreement was a triumph. It was Biden’s abandonment of it that led to the colossal failure we’re observing now in the ‘graveyard of empires’.
How quickly can the politics around Afghanistan change? Here's a section on the RNC's website in June; click it now and you get a 404 error. (Rest of page was about Kosovo/Israel-Arab deals.) https://t.co/kDJo95QfiF pic.twitter.com/HkZok9mgJW

Wait… Whoa… What? Ask Mike Pompeo. He Knows The History
While granted dealing diplomatically with the Taliban was a calculated risk Fmr. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo who was instrumental in the Doha Agreement called the Democrat’s efforts to pivot blame for the “pathetic” according to Politico.
“I wouldn’t have let my 10-year-old son get away from this kind of pathetic blame-shifting,” Pompeo said on “Fox News Sunday.” “He should be less focused on trying to blame this on someone else than to solving the problem of making sure that we protect and defend American security.”
Secretary Pompeo said that if Trump were still in office that the withdrawal would have occurred in an orderly fashion, noting that the Taliban was under control even when the Trump administration reduced American forces in the country last year. He cited that President Trump had created a successful deterrence model with the Taliban leaders and not a single American soldier had been killed there in over a year.
Pompeo directly referenced President Trump’s decidedly more aggressive tactics in the middle east, such as the drone strike that killed Iranian Terrorist-General of the Quds Force Qassem Soleimani in January 2020 and the deployment of a MOAB (Mother of All Bombs) against Taliban forces in Northern Afghanistan in 2017 which set the tone for his administration’s Afghanistan policy.
“They have to understand,” Pompeo said, “that there’s an administration with a backbone and a seriousness to execute on the things that matter and protect and defend America.”
“Were I still the secretary of State, with the commander in chief like President Trump, the Taliban would have understood that there were real costs to pay if there were plots against the United States of America,” Pompeo said. “Qassem Soleimani learned that lesson and the Taliban would have learned it as well.”
The picture couldn’t be clearer for those willing to view it with objective eyes: through the horrific mismanagement of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan the Biden-Harris regime has allowed a tragedy to take place. They are attempting to deflect blame onto President Trump, and it was wrong for the establishment GOP to give them ammunition to do so.
