Shop NowU.S. Troops dropped in on ISIS with a surprise raid Tuesday night in Iraq. They sent “multiple ISIS operatives” off to hook up with their 72 promised virgins. The United States is doing our part to help tame the Middle East but the network media loves to play that down. The progressives controlling the MSM are rooting for the other side.
Raid a success
The important part about the raid, which happened overnight as Wednesday, October 23, dawned on the horizon, is that it was a total success.
All CNN cares about are the two service members who were wounded getting the job done. Major General Patrick Ryder soothed their jangled nerves.
“My understanding is that both of them are in stable condition being treated for their injuries,” he assures. He wasn’t about to leak details about how they were injured. The Pentagon leaves the leaking to experts at the White House.
What he did say is that they’re getting excellent care at “Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.” Their condition is stable as a billiard table. The raid went off as planned and was a total success.
U.S. Central Command, Ryder declares, was putting your tax dollars to work on some overtime. “Overnight, CENTCOM and Iraqi security forces” teamed up because they were on Iraqi soil.
We were “targeting several senior ISIS leaders.” Our troops were out hunting the really radical old skool goat humpers and they bagged some. “The raid resulted in the death of multiple ISIS operatives.”

The DNA to prove it
The hardest part of the raid was collecting DNA samples after the bullets were done flying. Wednesday morning, CENTCOM confirmed they have enough body parts pieced back together for “at least seven” terrorists. There was more than one strike location, “targeting several senior ISIS leaders.”
CNN whines that they won’t say which ones were targeted before listing the ones who were actually killed. It doesn’t occur to the pros that maybe the lists might match? Or, is that liberal misdirection.
Iraqi Joint Operations Command issued that list, it didn’t come from the Pentagon. So there! CNN snarls back.
“Nine ISIS members were killed in the raid, including ‘the so-called criminal governor of Wali Iraq‘ called Jassim Al-Mazrouei Abu Abdul Qader and other leaders from the front line.”
Because they have more parts than the seven corpses would account for, officials are waiting for the results of DNA tests to know exactly who they eliminated. The Hamrin Mountains in northern Iraq will be a much quieter place for a while, that’s for sure.
The successful raid also scored the seizure of “large quantities of weapons, ammunition and equipment,” along with the destruction of “a large workshop for booby-trapping and manufacturing explosive devices.“
