Shop NowA GOP turncoat has decided to jump in bed with Joe Biden and the Democrats, as CNN reports that she will be joining the Biden administration to serve as the election security lead for DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
Washington’s Republican Secretary of State Kim Wyman, who fought against election security in the 2020 election, is apparently the perfect fit to oversee election security for the Biden administration.
CNN, who use unnamed sources “familiar with the matter” to justify this assertion, reports:
“The Biden administration is expected to name Kim Wyman, a Republican secretary of state who challenged former President Donald Trump’s false claims of election fraud, to lead the Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to protect future elections from foreign and domestic interference.”
Of course, there was clearly fraud in the 2020 election, especially related to mail-in voting, though it hasn’t been officially proven that there was enough to overturn Joe Biden’s so-called victory. But Wyman doesn’t let that stop her from saying that the election was safe and secure, writing an op-ed entitled “I’m the Republican secretary of state in Washington — and I believe voting by mail works.”
According to CNN, federal officials have been talking with Wyman for weeks, but the selection of this GOP turncoat for the position will not be official until all the paperwork is done and cleared with the White House.
No announcement about this potential appointment has been made from the White House as of yet.
It is likely that the Democrats will tout this move as proof that the administration is acting in a bipartisan fashion, despite the fact that this is the most radical left-wing administration the United States has ever seen.
