Trump Promise Sends Shock Waves Through Democrat Stronghold

The sanctuary city of New York is paralyzed by fear of mass deportation. The endless wave of violent criminal gangsters bused to the Big Apple during the Biden administration aren’t the only ones afraid to leave their apartments. Ones who have been peacefully minding their own business in the shadows for decades, inspired by the hope of eventual Democrat amnesty, are terrified they’ll be shipped back where they came from.

Trump promised deportation

Donald Trump already promised mass deportation of illegal aliens and everyone knows Trump keeps his promises. That has “immigrant communities” in New York City living in fear.

Officially, 412,000 undocumented immigrants are estimated to be living in the progressive city. The true number is probably twice that.

Not all the illegal aliens are Tren de Aragua members, Yatziri Tovar relates. “My parents have been living here for more than 30 years.” They love Brooklyn. “I think they see themselves as New Yorkers, as anybody else.

She doesn’t think deportation would be fair to her family. They may feel right at home but they never bothered to fill out the paperwork to make it legal.

Ms. Tovar believes that Trump means every word he’s said about deportation on the campaign trail. She’s taking him “at his word that he will carry out his campaign promise to use immigration agents to round up and deport mass numbers of undocumented immigrants.

We all are but the “fear on the streets in places like Bushwick, Brooklyn and Jackson Heights, Queens is real.

Illegals are terrified of deportation right back where they came from.

Children and grandchildren

Illegal aliens have somehow been given the impression that there’s a statute of limitations on border jumping. That after a number years without causing trouble the fact they’re criminals subject to deportation magically goes away.

I am afraid,” relates one undocumented migrant, who asked to be unnamed. “I have children and grandchildren, and I work hard. It would be unfair to deport us.” It’s equally unfair to documented migrants to let them stay.

Rabidly Democrat New York is “a Sanctuary City, where undocumented immigrants are largely shielded from immigration agents.” The only ones who ever had to look over their shoulder were criminals.

Those convicted of serious crimes do face deportation, but police commanders believe they are a tiny percentage of the thousands who poured into the city since 2022.

Even the ones who don’t commit armed robbery or other violent crimes are straining social services. They’re also scoffing at all the migrants who properly followed the legal process for admission and citizenship.

What’s the point of paying the steep fees, jumping through bureaucratic hoops, learning the language and the laws? Why do it when criminals jump the line for free, get a new cell phone and free housing in luxury hotels? Deportation is too good for them, honest immigrants complain.
