Americans, it seems, have become comfortably dumb. You can thank progressives and their policies for the big “F” on our national report card.
Democrat policy failure
The Democrat media crisis started when President Trump picked an advisor for Artificial Intelligence policy. Venture capitalist Sriram Krishnan. That instantly “triggered an anti-Indian backlash on social media.” Or so the media wants you to think.
What really set liberals off is the fact that the failure of their own policies is on full display. Naked, in a bright, glaring spotlight. They’ve been fully in charge of indoctrinating students in public schools under the guise of “education.” We now produce the least skilled graduates on the planet.
If you can actually get an appointment with a doctor these days, there’s a really good chance they weren’t educated in the United States. Engineers from American schools are practically useless. Like the ones at Florida International University. They designed, allegedly under professional supervision from a regular engineering firm, a pedestrian bridge for the campus.
They built in all the latest technology to make it efficient for modern students. It had WiFi. It was self-cleaning. There’s only one thing they left out. Support cables. On March 15, 2018, after multiple signs and warnings of impending collapse, it pancaked on top of eight cars stopped underneath it at a stop light. Democrat education statistics have been plummeting since then.
Vivek Ramaswamy, rabidly liberal Axios writes, “escalated the conflict into a full-blown war Thursday morning with a post on X blaming an American culture.”
Not just any culture. One that “venerated mediocrity over excellence.” He had to dumb it down for his Democrat audience and they still missed the point. Unless missing the point was intentional.
Picking on the nerds
“A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers,” Ramaswamy wrote. He also called it a “Sputnik moment” but nobody educated in Democrat run schools knows what he means.
The DOGE co-chair shocked everyone into action just like the Russians did when they beat us into orbit. It’s time he says, to prioritize “nerdiness over conformity.”
We’re living in an idiocracy. It’s time to wake up and stop being so woke. If kids don’t learn to read and reason they can’t compete. The current generation has devolved linguistically to emoji pictographs. If the trend continues, the next generation will point and grunt.
“That’s the work we have cut out for us, rather than wallowing in victimhood & just wishing (or legislating) alternative hiring practices into existence.” The preferred Democrat method.
Elon Musk backed Ramaswamy up on the issue. “OF COURSE my companies and I would prefer to hire Americans and we DO, as that is MUCH easier than going through the incredibly painful and slow work visa process,” Musk posted.
“HOWEVER, there is a dire shortage of extremely talented and motivated engineers in America.” Thanks to Democrat run schools, colleges and universities.
