Since the initial terror attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7, nations are flocking to either side to offer their support. As expected, the United States has offered aid to Israel to help in the warfront and one country in particular isn’t taking that lightly.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has made threatening remarks to the United States over the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. He warned that if the scope of the war expands, America would suffer heavy losses as well.
Additionally, he cautioned Israel about invading Gaza and said “the resistance leaders will turn it into a cemetery for occupation soldiers”. During this time, U.S Secretary of State Antony Blinken is visiting Middle Eastern countries including Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in an attempt to reduce tensions between Hamas and Israel.
BREAKING: Iran’s Foreign Minister has made his strongest warning yet in remarks to Al Jazeera:
“If stopping the aggression against Gaza does not succeed, the expansion of the war fronts is not excluded and its possibility increases every hour.
Iran cannot remain a spectator.”— Matt Bradley (@MattMcBradley) October 15, 2023
Amirabdollahian has been on a diplomatic tour of the Middle East for a week now while Blinken is visiting US allies in the region: Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Qatar. In Doha he greeted Hamas representative to Qatar with a hug and kiss showing his support towards them regarding their massacre of Israelis last weekend.
During his meeting with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani he expressed concern about the Israeli regime killing hundreds of Palestinians every day along with mentioning how the US government urges others to exercise restraint while increasing its military support for them at the same time being insensitive towards Palestinian people’s rights. He further praised the Hamas massacre of Israelis and warned of Iranian intervention if Israeli regime continued its crimes against Palestinians citizens.
“The continued aggression and the absence of a political solution add fuel to the fire and things may get out of control.
The region and its actors will not remain spectators.”

He also highlighted how the spontaneous move by the Palestinian nation orchestrated “Al-Aqsa Flood operation”, proving that Palestine is alive contrary to some beliefs while also giving out the message that normalization ties between Palestine and Israel cannot sap away iron will from Palestinians seeking restoration their natural human and legal rights from the Israeli regime.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry quoted Amirabdollahian saying Iran will never forswear its principles and values in supporting the Palestinian nation no matter what comes up next.
