Shop NowRecently, a report has been released that brings to light the connections between late financier Jeffrey Epstein and the Obama White House.
The documents from the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York provide details about Epstein’s activities and links Katherine Ruemmler, Barack Obama’s former White House counsel, to him.
The report confirms Epstein’s involvement in a sex-trafficking operation which was openly acknowledged by JPMorgan during a class certification hearing held on May 26, 2023.
Afterward, they issued a press statement expressing regret over their association with him as they were unaware of his illicit activities.
It also indicated that there was evidence suggesting he had sexually exploited and abused dozens of minor girls at various locations including Manhattan and Palm Beach in Florida.
Moreover, Ghislaine Maxwell – one of his close associates – found herself under legal scrutiny for charges related to sexual exploitation of minors too.
She was convicted on June 28th 2022.
The report further discusses how some victims had sought justice by filing private civil suits against him and those who helped facilitate these crimes.
Additionally, JPMorgan’s role is included wherein it reveals they processed multiple wire payments from Epstein to various women while hinting at potential negligence due to lack of proper due diligence when dealing with him initially as well as not attempting to sever ties when realizing what he was doing later on.
The filing also mentions how an assistant recommended Ruemmler as a potential client even though JPMorgan decided to part ways with Epstein six years prior because of internal issues concerning his conduct.
However, it does not make clear what level or extent this connection between them actually is/was or if there is any other link between the Obama White House and Epstein.
Despite having associations with several political figures like Bill Clinton (who flew on his plane multiple times for philanthropic missions) no one has ever been able to prove any wrongdoing by anyone connected to this case so far.
This all changed recently when JP Morgan agreed upon paying $290 million as settlement money in response to the lawsuit initiated by victims associated with Jeffrey Epstein.
