Members of the leftist media had seriously unhinged meltdowns overnight on November 2nd as votes were counted and it became clear that Republican Glenn Youngkin had won Virginia’s governor race.
As it became clear that Youngkin was going to defeat Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the race to become Virginia’s next governor, flipping the increasingly blue state back to red, the left began to lose their minds on live TV.
Virginia has been quickly turning blue over the past decade, electing two Democrat governors back-to-back and voting for Biden in 2020. But this governor’s race was different, as there was just one main issue motivating voters, an issue that the left has continued to double down on despite knowing they were losing: education.
According to reporting from MRC TV, the race “came down to two key points: the state’s education system, and suburban parents who were fed up with it. But according to leftists unable to accept their own abysmal failures, it was all because of racism (despite the fact that voters also elected Jason Miyares, a Republican and the son of a Cuban immigrant, as their new attorney general, and Winsome Sears, a Republican and the first black woman to win a statewide office in Virginia’s history).”
Here are some of the biggest, and funniest, meltdowns from the leftist media.
Joy Reid
Radical leftist MSNBC host Joy Reid lost her mind as the results came in, claiming that Youngkin’s win was because of “uncomfortable” white parents who hold the “racist idea…that you cannot teach the truth about Thomas Jefferson” in public schools.
Of course, she ignored the fact that Winsome Sears had also won thanks to those “racist” voters.
Joy Reid: @GlennYoungkin has run a campaign on the "racist idea…that you cannot teach the truth about Thomas Jefferson" or "enslavement" b/c "that makes a white parent uncomfortable" and is thus deemed "critical race theory" even though "it's not even real" #VAgov pic.twitter.com/ssmVb2sciX

“This isn’t a party that’s just another political party that disagrees with us on tax policy. That at this point, they’re dangerous. They’re dangerous to our national security,” Reid said during another one of her meltdowns.
MSNBC's Joy Reid, with dangerous rhetoric that'll get Republicans hurt: "Republicans are dangerous…[T]his isn't a party that's just another political party that disagrees with us on tax policy. That at this point, they're dangerous. They're dangerous to our national security." pic.twitter.com/5NiWIbn1Qk

Van Jones
CNN’s Van Jones appeared to try to tell a joke, calling Youngkin the “Delta variant of Trumpism” and proving to his viewers that he truly is suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Wajahat Ali
Wajahat Ali, a so-called journalist for the propaganda outlet The Daily Beast, claimed that “whiteness remains undefeated.”
Of course, like Joy Reid, he conveniently ignored the victories for Sears and Miyares.
Whiteness remains undefeated. Let's wait and see who those white suburban voters went for tonight in Virginia. Any guesses?

Nicole Wallace
MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace actually attempted to claim that Critical Race Theory “isn’t real,” arguing that white Virginia parents are scared of a boogeyman.

Fred Wellman
Fred Wellman, a member of the fake-Republican, pedophile-supporting group The Lincoln Project, confusingly said that McAuliffe had lost the race because Democrats ignored racism, or something.
What a train wreck. We need to take a hard look at how we counter the insidious racist fear mongering and messaging. Ignoring it isn’t working.

Brian Williams
MSNBC’s Brian Williams appeared to lose his mind on live television, bizarrely claiming that Youngkin’s victory is somehow related to a group of QAnon conspiracy theorists who believe John F. Kennedy Jr. is still alive.
MSNBC's Brian Williams ties Virginia voters supporting @GlennYoungkin to QAnon supporters who went to Dallas today claiming JFK Jr. was still alive and would ascend to the White House with Donald Trump.
