Liberal Groups Endorse Plan to Eliminate SCOTUS Conservative Majority

In an effort to try and destroy a conservative majority, many well-known liberal groups are endorsing a plan to increase the number of Supreme Court justices to eleven.

As it currently stands, the Court has a 5-4 conservative majority, which is assumed to be detrimental for most of the left-wing agenda.

Liberal Groups Push Hard to Win SCOTUS Majority

An open letter signed by prominent liberal organizations shows intent to stack the Court by groups like Take Back The Court, The Progressive Change Institute, Demand Justice, Demand Progress, Friends of the Earth, The Sunrise movement, Presente.org, 350.org, and the Hero Action Fund.

Part of the open letter reads:

“The activist conservatives who control the Supreme Court are poised to trample existing rights, from reproductive freedom to LGBTQ rights — and to block any significant progressive legislation in the future on urgent crises from climate change to health care to gun safety. The Supreme Court threatens to make it virtually impossible for progressives to enact the progressive policies supported by a clear majority of Americans. This problem won’t go away on its own.

The fastest, most effective way to reverse the Republican theft of the Supreme Court and make the court representative of all Americans is to enact legislation increasing the size of the Court by at least two seats, and to quickly fill those seats with justices who will safeguard our democracy.”

Politico reported that this is the first time liberal groups have openly pushed a plan to pack the Supreme Court.

During the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, radical leftist mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana, expressed his goal to increase the number of justices from nine to fourteen in an attempt to pack the Court.

Trump Appoints Conservative Judges, But Is It Enough?

At this point in his presidency, Trump has appointed approximately 200 judges to the federal bench, Breitbart News reports. This was accomplished due to the removal of the Senate filibuster for judicial nominees.

Despite a conservative majority, there have been some shocking decisions from Supreme Court justices, including Gorsuch.

RINO Reps to Dems Rescue

The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that federal law grants protection of LGBT employees from discrimination – with Justices Neil Gorsuch and John Roberts joining with four liberal judges to pass this legislation.

Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas all dissented on the matter.

“In the face of the unsuccessful legislative efforts (so far) to prohibit sexual orientation discrimination, judges may not rewrite the law simply because of their own policy views,” Kavanaugh said of why he dissented.

DACA’s Big Blow to American Sovereignty

This Thursday, the Supreme Court dropped another bombshell by rejecting President Trump’s attempts to gain control of America’s immigration crisis.

Chief Justice John Roberts voted with the four liberal judges to keep the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA).

DACA enables people who have been in the United States since they were children to continue living in the country illegally. According to data by FAIR, there were approximately 14.3 million illegal immigrants residing in the U.S. in 2019.

At this point, saying “RIP to American sovereignty” seems appropriate.

Part of President Trump‘s campaign promises included nominating conservative Supreme Court Justices.

Thus far, the president has upheld his end of the deal, while some of the supposedly Republican justices have sided with their liberal colleagues.

If SCOTUS’s decisions show any pattern to how future votes will go, it appears that even if the Court holds on to the conservative majority, America as we know it might never be the same.
